Chapter 1: Kayla

Hey, My name is Jeremy. I am 15 years old, long blonde hair and very athletic. I have alot of friends, I am very popular and was voted winter king at my high school this December. I live in Detroit Michigan in a small studio appartment with my Mom. Oh and there is one problem....... I have wings.

Mom: Jeremy time for school!

I jumped out of my bed threw on some clothes and walked into the kitchen to fetch some breakfast

Mom: I dont want you flying to school agian! \*scolding\*

Jeremy: Mom what good are these damn things if i cant use them?

Mom: Go to school!

I walked out of our door and onto the busy sidewalk. What my mom doesnt know wont hurt her! I ran into the nearest ally and through myself into the air, unfurling my wings from my cut out holes on my shoulders. I flew to school. I landed on the roof of the school and climbed down the fire escape ladder into the building. I walked to my locker.

Alex: Hey bro! Whats up? \*gives Jeremy Knuckles\*

Alex was my best friend even if he was a little.........rebelious?

Jeremy: Hey man! \*bell rings\*

Alex: Better be getting to class. \*runs off\*

Jeremy: Oh, Ya! \*turns to run\*

BAM! I ran smack into someone. I looked down and saw a very pretty girl laying on the ground.

Jeremy: Oh crap, \*helps her up\* my name is Jeremy.....I dont think i have seen you before?

Kayla: My name is Kayla, I actually just moved here...

Wow. I was mesmorized by her voice...

Kayla: But i better be going to class.....If i could find the room haha

Jeremy: Oh, what class?

Kayla: American Literature? With Mrs. Hanson.

Jeremy: Oh Thats were I am going! Follow me! \*grabs Kaylas hand and drags her through the hallway\*

Kayla: My hero! \*chuckles\*

Jeremy: Anything for a damsel in distress! \*smiles\*

Alex: Are you to going to stand there all day? Or are you going to come and sit down.

We Walked in and I sat in my seat. The only empty desk was behind me so thats were Kayla sat.

Jeremy: Oh, Lucky me.

Kayla: You know it! \*pauses\* Your not like really weird are you?

Jeremy: Oh ya! Very weird.

We both laughed. And in walked our substitue Teacher.
