It's tempting but tubing just sounds like being too hot with a bad sunburn on only one side.\u0026nbsp; I'll s-stay here where it's cool and dark.\"\n\n\"Fine.\u0026nbsp; But if you want to, meet here with us later.\u0026nbsp; We'll be back here for pie after dinner is over.\u0026nbsp; I'll buy you a slice.\"\n\n\"Shu- shu- O.K., but I'll just chill out here for now.\u0026nbsp; Later!\"\n\nJaime\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Did I hear you say you're not into swimming today? You're\u0026nbsp;Jaime, right?\u0026nbsp; Hello, I'm Alex.\"\n\nJaime looked up to see a very well dressed guy about his own\u0026nbsp;age standing at his table.\u0026nbsp; He was not very tall, but very well dressed, and despite the horrible humidity outside his clothes were still very crisp.\n\nN. No.\u0026nbsp; I mean- yes I'm Jaime, yeah into swimming, just; no - n-not feeling it right now.\u0026nbsp; I'm waiting for someone who's about an hour late to sh-sh, to\u0026nbsp;be here.\n\nHour late to show?\u0026nbsp; Damn that's brutal.\u0026nbsp; Hahahah. But funny, hey? Like what are the odds?\n\nUmmm? Eh?....\n\nI'm here waiting for my blind date to show, and they are about an hour late to show up.\u0026nbsp; My friend Liess said she was sending over a g'... someone for me to meet.\u0026nbsp; They were supposed to be here like an hour ago.\u0026nbsp; But I gave up on them long ago.\u0026nbsp; Nothing on my phone, so I'm guessing \"ghosted for sure.\"\u0026nbsp; Or else car trouble with a scoop of phone out of signal on the side.\n\nI can relate.\u0026nbsp; Sammy said that he was bringing someone for me to meet, but he's a no show also.\u0026nbsp; And Sam's not answering his texts.\n\nSo, Jaime, what's your favorite hobby?\u0026nbsp; Anything fun?\n\nAstronomy, and I think it is a lot of fun.\u0026nbsp; Mmm-my friends don't agree with that, but I think they're wrong.\n\n\"Astronomy?\u0026nbsp; That might be a Lot of fun.\"\u0026nbsp; Alex leaned in with a wry smile, \"Now, Solar, or extra-solar?\"\n\n\"Oh, I have to pick just one?\u0026nbsp; Well that's easy, just the Solar system; its planets and moons. Nothing beyond the original nine interests me much.\"\u0026nbsp; Alex tilted his head and raised his\u0026nbsp; eyebrows.\u0026nbsp; \"What?\u0026nbsp; There're not enough we don't know about here, already?\u0026nbsp; You want more unanswered questions?\"\n\n\"Nothing outside the heliosphere?\u0026nbsp; How come?\"\n\n\"Well, just studying the moon and it's phases keeps me busy enough, ... what about you?\"\n\nAlex smiled, \" J'sui Artiste!\"\u0026nbsp; This only got him a blank look.\u0026nbsp; \"I'm an artist.\"\n\n\"Oh, that's cool.\u0026nbsp; I can't do any art,\" Jaime said looking down.\n\nReally?\u0026nbsp; Almost everyone can make art, though most people don't stay with it long enough to get better at it.\n\n\"I started to draw a comic once -- before I found out how hard it is to draw.\"\u0026nbsp; Jaime glanced at the floor looking shy and vulnerable.\n\n\"Ohhhh...?\u0026nbsp; What was your comic about?\"\n\n\"It wasn't anything interesting.\u0026nbsp; It didn't go anywhere.\u0026nbsp; I abandoned it after I wrote myself into a corner.\"\n\n\"So!\u0026nbsp; Tell me, what was it about\n\nA little pink crept into Jaime's cheeks, \"Well, uh, I, it, uhh, w-was going to be something about some werewolves.\"\n\n\"Mmmmm?\u0026nbsp; Tell me more.\"\n\nHe blushed redder.\u0026nbsp; \"It's nothing, it didn't go anywhere.\u0026nbsp; I didn't make the comic.\"\n\nStraightening up, Alex crossed his arms and said, \"Tell me what it was about.\"\n\nJaime shrank down a little in his seat, he was now one whole head lower than Alex.\u0026nbsp; Hands folded in his lap, he mumbled something like, \"It was about a friendship between two werewolves.\"\n\nAlex sat down in the chair opposite Jaime.\u0026nbsp; They looked at each other, Alex staring intently at Jaime's face, and Jaime glancing at Alex to see if he was still being stared at. \u0026nbsp;When finally it was unbearable, \"What,\" he began, \"why are you staring at me?\"\n\n\"Jaime!\u0026nbsp; You were writing a Gaywerewolf comic, weren't you!\" Alex said in a low voice.\u0026nbsp; I just put it all together now.\u0026nbsp; Ha!\u0026nbsp; My friend, Liess, just started dating a guy named Samuel.\u0026nbsp; I'm guessing that he might be your friend 'Sammy'.\u0026nbsp; And they decided to set us up to -accidentally- meet.\"\u0026nbsp; Ha!\u0026nbsp; I hoped you were Gay, but you are\u0026nbsp;so delicious I chanced to talk to you either way since my date didn't show.\n\nJust staring, Jaime opened and shut his mouth several times in frustration.\u0026nbsp; \"No, I mean yes, no, I, I,...
