It's a low magic, masquerade  \nsetting.\u0026nbsp; Most people don't know magic exists, and of those that do,  \nthe secret is closely guarded and kept protected.\u0026nbsp; There are three  \nmain races so far: Humans, both magically capable and normal ones,  \nWildtouched, who are shapeshifters into a single animal form and an  \nanthro shape, and Cursed, who are the result of magical attempts to  \nbecome wildtouched and are more traditional lycanthropes.  \n  \nInto all of this, you have the Lapis Lazuli, who want to learn more  \nabout magic and are nominally a government black organization, the  \nDruids, low magic people who help maintain the masquerade and protect  \nthe Wildtouched, the Wildtouched themselves, mages who want to gain  \npower, and in the fae, who may ultimately be responsible for the  \nexistence of WIldtouched at all.  \n  \nThree Pantheons  \n  \nMajor PCs: Nathan, Thenyr  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; History goes exactly as normal until mid August 2001, when the plane  \nof magic and deities realigns with the mundane plane of earth,  \nbringing \"realms\" into existence in the locations of the Scandinavian  \npeninsula, Grecian peninsula, and Egypt, populated by monsters and  \ngods from the respective mythologies and pantheons.\u0026nbsp; Inside the  \nrealms, magic works, but technology doesn't, and vice versa for the  \n\"Scientific realm\", which is all the rest of earth not subsumed into  \nthe realms.\u0026nbsp; The gods aren't all on good terms with each other, and  \nthey're on worse terms with most nations and earth religions, and this  \nforms the crux of the conflict.\u0026nbsp; However, the realms are actively  \nexplored by enterprising \"realmwalkers\", and those who hire them.\u0026nbsp;  \nSome for adventure, some for money, some for exploration.\u0026nbsp; Takes  \nplace roughly 2020s.  \n  \nWings and prayers  \n  \nMajor PCs: Kawheek, Thenyr  \n  \nBased off the Greyhawk D\u0026D setting, this includes the Thordani and  \nAsari as existing races in a small area in the southern part of the  \nHellfurnace mountains.\u0026nbsp; Religious birdpeople who venerate Faenya,  \nthey're at roughly a Bronze age technology level and fight to maintain  \ntheir villages against the encroachment of nearby powerful monsters  \nand fire giants.\u0026nbsp; Furthermore, they seek to rid the world of undead  \nand worship the sun.\u0026nbsp; Year irrelevant.\u0026nbsp; They are a martial, tribal  \npeople with little trust for 'book magic' or arcanism, though they're  \nfine with divine holy magic.\u0026nbsp; Primary conflict themes are survival,  \nfamily, and maintaining the tribe against enemies.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Winds of change  \n  \nMajor PC: Patrick Altair (Cassandra Delarose canon immigrant)  \n  \nIn this setting, people going through puberty transform into an anthro  \nanimal with possible superpowers.\u0026nbsp; The reasons are lost to history so  \nfar, but the world has been drastically changed by this since 1996(the  \ndate of the first changes of everyone over adolescence) and even more  \nby the Plague War (known as World War II in our world).\u0026nbsp; Population  \nis about half what it is in real life.\u0026nbsp; Powers run the gamut of  \neverything you might see in comic books, and everyone is a animal of  \nsome degree (percentage towards animal form), with 50% mammal, 25%  \navian, 15% reptile, 5% aquatic, and 5% Extinct or other vertebrate.\u0026nbsp;  \nPrimary conflict arises in coming-of-age stories and general  \ninterpersonal relations, made more complex by the morph variance.\u0026nbsp;  \nAdditionally, the Natural Order, a group of predator supremacists who  \nwish to take over and eliminate prior history, lurk in the shadows.  \n  \nFur, Fury, Space  \n  \nMajor PC: Arrow Quincy Vershaft, (possibly Redtai Dacolis)  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Following the discovery of an alternate universe with a high number of  \nhabitable planets, our prime timeline used a one-time event to spawn  \nover large amounts of intelligent colonists.\u0026nbsp; Unforeseen events  \nresulted in not all of them being human, and consequently, anthros and  \nmythical morphs.\u0026nbsp; Think Wing Commander meets Starfox for general  \nfeel.\u0026nbsp; Interstellar space opera to an extent, with aliens pressing  \nback on the \"genesis\" races in various wars.\u0026nbsp; Mercenary ships exist  \nas a major source of military buffer.\u0026nbsp; In the core canon for Jeff,  \ncomputers do not work below the \"Mainframe\" level, although I've  \nfutzed with this myself enough to not be a hard rule.\u0026nbsp; Originally  \ndealt with the crew of the Cause, but at this point I'd feel  \ncomfortable moving beyond that.  \n  \n  \n\n"}
