It seems the seemingly innocent boy has his own magic but won't use it for personal reasons.

For 3 seasons now Justin has been established as a normal type wolf no magic but using magic blasters to fight with. However he revealed to his boyfriend dakota that he is a lucky wolf having the power to predict things but not having the true powers of a magical gaian wolf. Now he could have gotten himself a beast trigger, band and his own set of magic skills and a beast form but he doesn't like to use magic at all from a bad experience when he was little and is too terrified to try using it again. Even though a lucky wolf is a hybrid between a light wolf and a normal one but lacking a lot of powers on the light half.
