#14 of 2021 Mental Health Crisis

I never feel them, even though I wish I could.

Compliments are bouncing off,
Compliments, unheard,
Compliments that shake our mind
and threaten our whole world.

Because we cannot see ourselves,
Because we cannot laugh,
We never hear our compliments;
We discard them like chaff.

But one day soon, we'll feel them all.
But one day soon, we'll see.
And one day soon when that day comes
we'll cry for victory.
