I don't even know how to describe this one, but it's a CW for suicide for sure.

CW: Suicidal Imagery

----------------------------------------

I never knew what rest meant.
I never know I was tired.
I never knew past exhaustion,
and through anxiety, so wired.

I never knew what rest meant.
I never knew without hope.
I never knew past the things I can't see,
a future without a rope.

I never knew what rest meant.
I never knew without blood.
I never knew past the silence
of a corpse now drowned in mud.

I never knew what rest meant.
I never knew without hope.
I couldn't see past my own death,
a future without a rope.
