# Talk Like a Pirate Day

I damn my sight from the tithes of the king!
his is my only diamond ring
keep his gold,
spoils of battle old,
we fought against ninety-seven fold
we never shot for our stories told...
Grandose manure of the sunken mould
Thirteen shops where we only sold...
They started to whisper to footmen, Avast!
so we shot out quick and flashed back to the mast
the sleight of our feet let us past.
the soldiers left to themselves dead last
for we were already out of cast
no one kept up in the great and vast.
We're glad no one tried to work half-assed...
We can stay in the ship below
Feeling like we've just been stowed
The ship just rocks as it shakes and bows
It's not just me stepping in wild throes
The tale and yarn of ol' Mr. Moe
keeps us happy as well fed sows
but now it dawns: we realise
we left him back in the paradise
but we shant return with no disguise
so he's left in his slow drown of lies...
but the guards back there dont know where he sighs
we sure dont hope he's been hung up high
if it was true then we'd surely die...
but at least we've got these kidney pies...
but the taste is bad enough without these mice
but now, I just play with my dice
the ship may rock, and the bed may spring,
but at least we stole the diamond ring
which keeps us going to the point we'll sing...
and now I'll leave without that painful thing.
