**Harder down the line**

 

Anger and sadness is all I feel everyday alone.

I put on a fake smile not to show the pain but I don't cry.

A blank face of anger to scare those who think I'm weak or afraid.

I waste my days alone in sadness and anger.

My life is a black hallway with two doors one is the path I am on and the other can lead to better days but I keep going farther down this path of pain.

I tried to open the other door many times before and it gets harder every time I try.

One day I will learn what is beyond that door but until that day it will be the same anger and sadness I feel every day.
