Dictated from the Heart

(04/21/2022)

You tell me not to drown,

But sometimes it can be tough,

You'll understand me when I say,

It's a diamond in the rough,

I see so much potential,

For what our future holds,

It gives me strength to carry on,

And joyous days unfold,

But I understand your need,

For the time we spend apart,

Yet I feel the loss tremendously,

For you own my heart,

But if you're feeling troubled,

My soul I will lay bare,

If you will but call my name,

Turn around and I'll be there...
