After his sudden passing I never married or dated after that, my heart couldn't take it. For months after the funeral I wanted nothing more than to end my life and be with him once again. In my heart I knew he wouldn't want that for me, plus I had to be there for my baby girl. Every year on our anniversary her and I would visit his grave. Some years were harder than others but we still did it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;A few days ago I was in a bad accident and my body isn't handling it well. I also believe my fighting spirit is drained from all the prior years.\u0026nbsp;\n\nBeing stuck in this hospital bed I got a small glimpse of what Connor had gone through.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Do you need anything else?\" Alice asked sitting at the end of my bed. I shook my head and smiled at her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'll be fine thank you dear.\" I smiled at her. She stood up and kissed my forehead.\n\n\"Love you dad.\" She said\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Love you too and\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;tell the little one granddad loves him.\" I said as she got up and walked away.\n\n\"You got it.\" She smiled again and walked away.\u0026nbsp;\n\nFor a while I sat on my bed just watching tv. When suddenly everything slowed down and I couldn't hear anything, but at the same time everything was heightened. The room was filled with a bright light. I felt a brush on my cheek and I saw a figure walking towards me and I knew who it was immediately.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Connor!\" I yelled and he started running towards me.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"In questo giorno vita mia, il mio cuore e mia anima ora ti appartiene Ethan Thomas. Ti amo\" he said. I jumped up hugging him tight, suddenly I could stand on my own \"It's time hun.\" I nodded as a tears ran down my cheeks.\n\n\"I missed you so much.\" I said into his shoulder holding him tight.\n\n\"I missed you too.\" He said smiling and hugging me just as tight.\n\n\"What about Alice?\" I asked, suddenly very concerned.\n\n\"She'll be fine, she has an amazing husband to support her.\" I nodded and took his paw again as we both headed into the light.\n\n\\*\\*\\*\\*\\*\n\n\"Call it, twelve twelve\" the Doctor said\n\nAlice watched with tears in eyes as her father's Doctors walked over to her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'm very sorry.\" He said. She nodded and wiped the tears from her eyes. \"Who's Connor?\" The Doctor asked\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Why?\" Alice asked sniffling a bit, wiping away her tears.\n\n\"It was the name your dad said before he passed.\" Alice smiled and laughed a bit.\n\n\"He was my dad's best friend, his husband, and my dad.\" Alice said as she walked over to her father's body and kissed his forehead. \"Love you Daddy.
