We'll see where it goes.","content":"I awoke from a deep slumber.\n\nTo you, it probably was\n\nA mindless action,\n\nBut I got a revelation.\n\nWhen you left for the bathroom,\n\nYour paw had escaped me,\n\nAnd I did not pay attention.\n\nBefore I became aware,\n\nMy hand was empty.\n\n  \n\nI realized at that moment.\u0026nbsp;\n\nNo matter what happens,\u0026nbsp;\n\nI don't want to lose\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe warmth of your hand.\n\nI noticed I've been\u0026nbsp;\n\nTaking you for granted.\n\nBut, never again.\n\n  \n\nEach day I will gift you\n\nProof of my affection.\n\nWhen your smile shines on me,\n\nI want to laugh along.\n\nWhen tears roll down your cheeks,\n\nI want to be there to dry them.\n\nWhen the day messes your mind and fur,\n\nI want to tidy you up.\n\n  \n\nYou had been living our love\n\nFor the both of us.\n\nMeanwhile, my heart slept.\n\nAnd did not worry when to rise,\n\nFor it was sure you would be there.\n\nBut now it will remain awake,\n\nTo appreciate\n\nAll of you.\n\n  \n\nI'm glad that, at least,\n\nI caught these feelings\n\nBefore I drove you away.\n\n  \n\nBut I worry even now.\n\nWhen I run out of words,\n\nWill you forgive me, I wonder.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
