I stare at the world with a new sight, seeing things differently than a normal human would, to sense the world around me now.\n\n            The thought of living forever never crossed my mind. A werewolf is what I am; it is what I have become. It is a part of me. The whole thing still seems so surreal to me--like I'm living an everlasting dream.  \n\n            The most shocking thing I believe is not only am I a Child of the Moon, but I'm also an Alpha of a werewolf Pack--chosen by the Goddess Luca. The Goddess decides who the Alpha becomes.\n\n            I would never have thought this would happen to me. I guess it's where I live that brought me to my Pack and my loving Mate, Kari.\n\n            When I was a young girl, my family and I moved to the small town of Valders, Wisconsin. My mom got a job as an editor at Valders' Journal and my dad teaches at the Silver Lake College. As for myself, I go to Valders High School.\n\n            Beginning in this new town and the high school was hard. But later it got better. I made two new friends. They've helped me so much.  \n\n            Later on next year, some friends and I hit a movie we all wanted to see. After the movie, on my way home, I was viciously attacked by a pack of wolves, except they weren't wolves--but werewolves, though, I didn't know that then.  \n\n            It was them, my Pack and my Goddess who decided my fate. . . .   \n"}
