I wrote it how i used to do a lot of my poems, just stare at an image and let my thoughts flow. Its got a few hitches in it, but at the time i was trying to find my own style and was just experimenting, really. As with most of my poems, i try to keep a certain degree of menace in it. Please give me your comments, rates, i love them!

**A Dolomite Verse**

**By Brett**

Near a mountainside, below in the shade

A village waits in an emerald glade.

With hills rolling green and tall church spire

Lie aspens of gold, their branches afire.

A wilderness runs beyond hills green roaming

Of which tales are told in the hours of gloaming.

Of Daemon knight and Goblin lord

With twisted mace and steaming sword,

Whose evil deeds are all but gone

When they vanish in the light of dawn.

"}
