I edited it myself.
Enjoy.
Check out my sites!https://thefateseries.carrd.co/#https://flxshwrld.carrd.co/#
You know, being a vegan isn't as bad as other animals make it out to be. It might just be the fact that a wolf woman like me is a vegan.

That's probably not healthy in the slightest for a wolf to disregard meat! I only became a vegan for my husband, Erik.

He's a rabbit, and he's so adorable. Why would wolves want to eat something as cute as him? Probably because most are... pretty blood thirsty when it comes down to meat.

Though what's weird is that...

Erik's a butcher. That's right! A butcher. He got the job as one recently and I asked if cutting up weak and small animals bothered him. He just... shrugged it off and said he didn't care. It pays well.

That bothered me!

How are you, as a rabbit, not bothered by yourself being a butcher? I shouldn't let this bother me so much, but part of this honestly scares me...

Erik told me he's cut up the meat of both predator and prey. It doesn't matter what it is to him, he'll slaughter all of it, because it's all valuable and expensive in his eyes.

Am I in the wrong to be scared? He... wouldn't do anything to living animals, right?

Okay, maybe I'm just thinking about this too much! My husband just has a sort of unnatural job that is not fit for his species.

That's fine, I can still cuddle him at night!

\\*

I had a dream... no... a nightmare.

It's- it can't be a coincidence. It just can't be!

I had this horrid nightmare about my husband furiously making a bloody mess with meats while he tied me to a wall.

Then at the end...

He trudged towards me with a murderous look in his eyes. He wanted me to die next. My husband wanted to cut me open and spill my blood.

Before he lunged at me with his cleaver, the dream ended. I woke up in my bed and I cuddled with Erik.

That's the first time I've had a nightmare. I don't really remember any dreams, but this nightmare is something that'll lurk in my mind.

But...

I can't take it too seriously. Erik's too night to end up like that.

"Good morning, Morrigan. Didn't think you'd be up so early," a deep voice rumbled in my ear.

I nearly jumped out of the bed hearing his voice. "I-I didn't know you'd be up this early either!"

Being directly under me, he kissed my chin. Erik wiggled his way up to my face to kiss my nose.

God, that's so cute! I felt my tail thump on the bed as a blush came across my face. See! My husband's too cute to be a scary murderer. Nobody should take dreams or even nightmares seriously.

I know I won't.

"I'll be heading into work early today," Erik hopped out of the bed, stretching his thin, but muscular arms.

"That's nice!" were the only words that left my maw.

Smiling, he turned to me. "Would you like to shower together?"

Jumping out of bed, I smiled back. "Of course, sweetie!"

Our showers are so romantic when we take them together. Once we were in, I... just couldn't help but think about the nightmare a bit. His scarlet eyes turned to me, filled with love, but a moment in my mind flashed. I saw a murderous smile appear for a second.

"Something wrong?"

I snapped out of whatever daydream I was in, looking at Erik. "Yep, just fine!"

Or at least I think I'm fine.

"Let's get out the shower!" I insinuated.

"Sure," he chuckled in response, turning off the shower.

Seconds later, we were out of the shower and out of the bathroom. We got dressed and then...

I froze up, almost in shock. Erik had dried blood stained on his apron. If ... he wasn't a butcher, I'd be scared. Though there's no reason to be scared. It's just his job. We can easily wash out all the blood.

"Want me to wash that?"

"No. Don't worry about it. I'll do it when I'm off another day," he responded.

That's... that's fine. It doesn't bother me that much. Even if it's literally blood.

We finished getting dressed, and Erik looked at me. "Would you like me to make banana pancakes again?"

My tail wagged hearing that. "Yes, I would love that!"

Erik's family has many recipes for vegetarian and vegan foods! Since you know... they're all rabbits.

"Let's get started, then!"

We headed into the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Or at least Erik did. It wasn't long before they were done.

As usual, the pancakes were so delicious! I love when Erik makes breakfast for me.

He looked at me as he took another bite.

What the hell? Wh...

He doesn't look like himself. He's eating... a heart? Where did he...

A fear traveled in my body. The same psychopath from my nightmare sat in front of me.

I'm going to die...

"Morrigan?"

Huh?

Snapping out of it, Erik sat in front of me with a worried look. There's something seriously wrong. Why do I keep seeing this horrible version of my husband?

I don't need to see a doctor, do I?

"Morrigan, please speak to me."

A smile came across my face. It wasn't the best, but hopefully he'll know I'm okay. "I'm fine, Erik. Just a little tired."

Finishing his food, he got up from his seat. "Okay- I'll head out now."

"I'll see you after work, then!" I got up, going over to him and giving him a kiss.

He smiled, having a hint of worry behind it. I can't really blame him, though...

Erik hugged me and I swore I could feel... or hear something whisper in my ear. It wasn't his voice. It caused me to freeze up in fear for a few heartbeats before we broke out of the hug. I had to fake a smile to hide the fear.

Erik left for work.

I think I need to take a small nap, or see someone.

A nap will do. I crept over to the couch, lying on it and shutting my eyes. I'm hoping that my brain is just playing tricks on me.

I closed my eyes and let myself drift off into sleep.

_Erik's not a psychopath._

_Erik's not a psychopath.._

_Erik. Is not. A psychopath..._

A warmth surrounded me. I feel so cozy. But... in a way, something doesn't feel right. There's a warm liquid running down on me. I opened my eyes.

The room was red. Erik was in front of me, spilling a bucket of blood on me. Chunks of small animals mixed with the blood.

I-I couldn't move. I was so scared. What the hell is happening?

Erik pulled out a kitchen knife. He put it on my cheek and pressed it in.

I screamed, but no noise left my maw. It hurts so much. He pressed it in deeper, making more warm blood stream down my face.

He looked at me with his chaotic eyes. He opened his maw, sharp teeth making themselves present.

Stop it... stop it!

This isn't my husband, I know it isn't!

Please... I don't want to be here anymore!

He rose the knife, and...

\\*

I covered my maw and held back a shriek. My heart raced and sweat poured into my fur.

My paw gripped at my heart as I hyperventilated. I should call someone, or see a doctor.

I just need to calm down for a few minutes, drink some water... and call my mom.

Nervously, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket. I went to the kitchen and got some water. I filled the cup and called my mom. She usually knows how to solve problems like this.

"Morri? Is something wrong? You never call me out of the blue."

"Hey, mom," I replied. "I've had these weird dreams about Erik."

"What kind of weird dreams?"

"Well, more like nightmares. It's about him doing horrible things as a butcher. And to me as well."

I heard my mom gasp over the phone. "What? That sounds terrible, but have you been having these nightmares often?"

"Only twice, but I fear it'll get worse." I sipped my water. It tasted strange, but I didn't mind it.

"Honey, it's just in your imagination. Plus, dreams and nightmares mean nothing."

"Are you sure?" I questioned, sipping my drink again.

Why does it taste so...

My eyes widened as I looked at the cup.

Blood. Chunks of something mixed in it. An eyeball floated to the surface.

I screamed, throwing the cup across the room.

"Morri? What happened? What's wrong? Do I need to call the police?"

I had to calm her down. Holy hell, what was that? "I just saw a bug, mom. Don't w-worry!"

The phone went silent for a moment. My voice shook. "I-I promise it w-was just a bug!"

"Morrigan... drink some water and maybe go see a doctor..."

What the hell is a doctor going to do about this? Give me some pills that make me question myself constantly?

"R-Right," I spoke. "I'll call you later, mom. Love you."

"Love you too, sweetie."

Hanging up, I stared at the cup I threw. The water looked normal, but I puked into the sink right after.

I know I'm awake. What in the world is going on?

Scared now, I went into the living room. No, I'm going to the bedroom.

I'll just watch a movie, maybe a few movies.

Until Erik gets home.

Yeah, until Erik gets home.

I won't be sleeping.

That's a great idea.

\\*

It's been hours. I swear I see something in the corner of my eye. I-I want it to go away, but I don't know how to stop it.

"Morrigan? Morrigan, I'm home," Erik's voice sounded nearby.

Smiling, I waited for him to come into the room.

He entered and...

Oh, my god.

There's blood all over his face. I'm trying my best to keep myself calm.

It's just his job. It's just his job.

"Work got very messy today. So much I had to go through. Sorry if I look like garbage. Or some type of psychopath."

Oh, how funny...

I gave a smile. "It's fine, Erik. Just shower and you should be all right."

"Do you want to shower with me?"

"S-Sure."

I just have to wash the blood out of his fur. Then everything will be fine.

As we took our shower, I scrubbed the scarlet substance out of his fur. Watching it flow down the drain, I could only see the fresh blood that my husband poured on me from my nightmare.

We were silent the entire time. He knew something was up.

Was he going to ask?

Is he worried about me?

...

We finished up and dried ourselves off.

I'm surprised I...

"Morrigan. What's wrong?"

Erik turned to me and I saw the fresh blood on his face again. I stared in horror as he flashed his horrid sharp teeth, drooling on the floor. He held the kitchen knife in his paw. I'm now at a loss for words. Only an exhalation left my maw.

In heartbeats, he was himself again.

"Morrigan! What's wrong?" He stepped closer to me.

I backed away. "Please... I don't... I..."

"You don't what?" He yelled.

I broke down into tears, falling to my knees. "I don't know!"

Soon, Erik embraced me with a hug. His soft and warm fur pressed against mine as tears ran down my face. "You can tell me anything, Morrigan," he whispered.

"I'm so scared, Erik," I sobbed.

"Scared of what, dear?"

Hesitating, I stared at my husband, teary eyed.

I-I had to tell him the truth... I hope it makes everything better.

"Erik, I've had some terrible nightmares about you. You were a psychopathic butcher, and you poured blood on me and cut me! I swear I felt it! And I've seen these horrible flashes of you in real life when I look at you..." It's like I just spilled my heart out to him.

There was a heartbeat of silence.

My rabbit husband just.... Chuckled. What in the world is wrong with him?

"Wh-What's so funny?" I asked, sniffling.

"You had me a lot more worried. I thought something worse was going on," he said.

What else did he think?

I'm honestly stunned.

"Morrigan, these nightmares mean nothing. We can go see a doctor if you'd like. I wouldn't want you to see me as a murderer again."

The nightmares still feel so real to me. Though, I'm glad my husband understands.

He gave me a kiss on the lips. I embraced it with him, feeling his warmth. For once in these past few hours, nothing flashed and nothing horrible happened.

Don't get me wrong. I love my husband so dearly. But something deep inside me doesn't feel right.

I'm still scared... of something.

\\*

We went to the doctor, and I got a medicine called Olanzapine. I was also told to get more sleep and drink more water.

I guess the only way to see if this really works is to move on with my day.

And nothing... happened.

Amazing, but I still feared. I still feared my husband. What if it just starts up again and I have to take more pills?

What if it happens right now?

I looked over at my husband. He sat next to me on the bed while we watched tv. He didn't notice me staring. Probably because he was dozing off.

Minutes passed, and nothing happened. This is fine.

The doctor... told me not to worry. About the nightmares, of course, if they happen again.

I fear that may make it all worse.

\\*

"Wake up, love."

Gasping, I opened my eyes, and Erik covered my maw.

I-I couldn't tell if I was having a nightmare.

Why the hell does it feel real? I don't understand what this is.

He stared at me with that psycho look. Drool dripped in between my eyeballs. Everything is real. It must be.

My husband is a killer.

He pulled out a meat cleaver and pressed it into my shoulder. My muffled screams sounded through his paw. Tears ran down my face as I struggled to move.

His tiny bunny body held so much power...

Erik stopped with my shoulder and pressed the cleaver into my stomach. It hurts so much. Someone please help me...

"You tried to get rid of me. Your life is the price of this." He laughed and laughed.

I-I didn't try to get rid of you!

Only the bad images of you!

Please! Don't do this!

"You're the most expensive meat on the list, Morrigan."

Before I knew it. He struck the cleaver in my throat.

\\*

"Morrigan!"

**"MORRIGAN!"**

Erik cried, hugging the cold, dead body of his wife. A pool of blood stained the bed, dripping on the floor.

The rabbit man gripped his meat cleaver with his bloody paws. The scarlet substance drenched his face. He didn't want to believe he did this.

Erik doesn't even know how this happened.

Screaming his wife's name again, the rabbit man hugged her tighter.

Then he took a bite out of her fur and flesh, ripping it out.

She'd make a good meal.
