As such, Part Two! I'll keep that in mind moving forward so I don't run into this sort of thing again and again... and I thought I was being frugal with only writing 9k words for this story. Lesson learned!","content":"In all honesty… he impressed her. A _lot_.\n\nHer human had endurance that lasted _for days_. Every single time he was finished, always hilted inside of her as his seed filled her interior, and eventually her womb, he was back at it again within _moments_. Which was _nice_~… especially when her sensitivity adapted to him, and she could _feel him_ so much better~. Enough that he actually brought her to orgasm, without using his hands!\n\nThat was impressive enough, but what _really_ impressed her, was that he didn't stop filling her until she was, literally, full of his seed.\n\nIt took the better part of a day, certainly, but he _filled her womb_. That was heaven for her, as she had _never_ experienced that before.\n\nTo be fair, she'd never _really_ experienced sex before either. Not as a dragon, her natural form, anyway.\n\nEven better, after he finished filling her, they… well, the degeneracy of the actions embarrassed her, but… _they **cuddled** _!\n\nIt was, in all of her absolute honesty… the best day of her long, _long_ life.\n\nAnd then, they had yet another new routine. One filled with affection, with sex, with _breeding_, with… with _love_. The first few days were mostly sex, of course, but after that… they talked. She got to know him, really _know_ her mate. He told her of his life in the Lands Between, of all that he had accomplished since Grace first touched him. Of his first death, at the hands of some ancient trap in a catacombs in Limgrave, where a chariot ran him down after he used a special key to get through a barrier.\n\nOf his further sixteen deaths as he cleared that area, killing all of the beings that dared attack him there. In truth, _she_ felt the urge to go tear that infernal place to ash… even if she could admit that her beloved human was an idiot for ignoring the eternal poison that coated the ground in that area.\n\nHe told her of defeating Godrick, and how, after so many attempts, the 'Lord of all that is Golden' was honestly a let down with how _easy_ he was to defeat. He spoke of visiting the Caelid Wilds, and of how a 'tyrannosaurus fido' turned him into a chew toy. Of how he fought, clawed and struggled his way through that wretched place, until he had stumbled upon Radahn's castle.\n\nShe couldn't help but giggle at his depiction of riding Torrent, his eternally trustworthy companion, across a bridge, only to be blown off it by a trebuchet's munitions.\n\nHe spoke of fighting Radahn, and of how he had died _over a hundred times_ fighting the colossal General, before _finally_ reigning victorious. The pride he felt, she shared, as General Radahn was truly a worthy foe.\n\nShe fought not to be jealous as he spoke about his first romantic interest here in the Lands Between. Of how he first met her, Millicent, when exploring the Aeonia Swamp. How he then helped her. He was… sad, when discussing her. She found that, surprisingly… it wasn't too hard to not be jealous of her.\n\nEspecially when he told her of their first 'intimate' moments, where both of them forgot to consider the effects of the Scarlet Rot… or the 'STD from Hell', as her beloved called it.\n\nThat assuaged _all_ of her jealousies.\n\nThen he spoke of the Liurnia Lakes, and his complaints of not clearing _that_ area first, before Caelid, had her _cackling_. Truly, her beloved was an _idiot_… but he was _her_ idiot, and she loved him all the more for it. He spoke of Rennala, and of how her mind had been ruined by the actions of her ex… a term she personally found suitably apt for describing a past romance.\n\nAfter that, he spoke of fighting his way through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, of the pains of fighting a magma wyrm, barefoot, and then… he spoke of seeing _her_.\n\nAnd how his entire world shifted as, much like the romances spoken of in legend, how he had fallen in love at first sight. She… well, the vocal admission that he _loved_ her, the first time he directly said it, had her blushing furiously… despite their numerous carnal encounters.\n\nThen he spoke of going the _other way_ to reach the Altus Plateau, which had _her_ groaning in embarrassment as… she'd frankly forgotten that there _were_ two ways to this location. She was both alarmed and _proud_ of his description of fighting a legendary shade, then Morgott, then gargoyles, Night Cavalry, giant undead, golems, then of the perils of fighting in the Mountaintops of the Giants whilst barefoot.\n\nThis was what had her alarmed, by the way, not his having fought numerous powerful foes. That was expected of her mate. No, she was just alarmed because _he was such an idiot_!\n\n“Our children better not get that trait from you,\" she muttered, furrowing her brow in distaste at the very thought.\n\nOf course, she hadn't been aware she had spoken aloud until she saw her beloved human _staring_ at her with open-mouthed shock. When it clicked what she had said… she couldn't recall a time where she'd felt _more_ embarrassed… though she pretended that she had meant to say that aloud.\n\nThe brilliant, ecstatic smile that she got from her beloved made it all worth it in her eyes.\n\nHe continued his tale, each one being more outlandish than the last, though she knew that he was speaking nothing but the truth to her. Nothing, however, was as outlandish as his admittance that, once again, he had been led astray by his _dick_.\n\nMostly because the other individual, the partner in his foolish endeavor, was _Malenia_. Apparently, he had made a bet with her that, no matter how many attempts it took, he would defeat her. And, when he _did_… they'd 'fuck', as he so eloquently put it.\n\nShe told him to just not tell her the details of him sticking his dick in nasty things.\n\nMentally, she re-iterated to herself that their children had _better not_ inherit their father's _limitless stupidity_!\n\nThen, after fighting Mohgwyn, and _many_ other adversaries… he told her of fighting the Fire Giant. The _last_ Fire Giant. And defeating him.\n\nAnd that was when he stopped, and focused on 'farming Runes', as illogical as that sounded. The instant he gained the most power he _possibly could_… he came back to her.\n\nAfter learning so much about his own past, his own hardships and struggles… his own lost loves, as he spoke of the fate that befell Millicent, well… she couldn't deny him the same trust.\n\nSo, she spoke about _him_. How they met, of his strength, his courage, of how close he came to claiming the Elden Throne… and of how he threw it all away when he surrendered his mind to the Frenzied Flame, all for the sake of a woman… a woman that _wasn't her_.\n\nEven as she remembered her darkest moments, with him, her beloved human… she found that they did not hurt so bad. She was still furious, make no mistake. However… she found comfort in his presence, a comfort she had not felt for millennia before.\n\nTruly, those days, those _months_, spent with him in that clearing after they had laid bare their hearts to each other… they were the best she ever had.\n\n**[=]**\n\n“I need to burn the Erdtree,\" he told her, seemingly randomly, one day. She stilled, her heart sinking. She had… hoped, that he wouldn't. It had cost her her last love… even if she could admit that he had never truly loved _her_ in return.\n\n“I see,\" she stated, her voice neutral. He gave her a wan smile. “Very well then.\"\n\nTo her surprise… he shook his head at her. “If you don't want me to, I won't,\" he informed her… and her heart skipped a beat.\n\nSlowly, she turned her gaze away from the Liurnia Lakes to _look_ at him. She swallowed. “You would… give up the Elden Throne?\" she asked, her disbelief evident.\n\nHer beloved chuckled. “For you and your happiness?\" he asked, causing her to flinch. He shrugged, looking back out over the cliff. “In a heartbeat. Make no mistake, my love… when it comes to me and what I want, you and your happiness are second to none.\"\n\nShe was reminded then, of just _why_ she loved her human so.\n\nAnd why it was so painful to do as she did.\n\n“Do it,\" she told him, her gaze hard as she met his own. “Burn the Erdtree. Claim the Elden Throne. Just… come back to me.\"\n\nHis smile was warm. “Nothing could keep me away,\" he swore.\n\n**[=]**\n\nIt was not long after he left that the Erdtree burned.\n\nIn truth, she found the sight… horrifically _beautiful_. To see such an impressive sight, _on fire_, filled her with a sense of… _humbleness_. And, after she adapted to seeing such a sight, the meaning behind it _clicked_.\n\nHe had done it.\n\nHer love, her beloved human, he who is to be the father of her children… he had _done it_. He had made the sacrifice that _he_ had not been able to. He…\n\nHe would _come back to her_.\n\n**[=]**\n\nIt wasn't instant, his return. At first, that worried her. Then, however… she realized that there was truly no need for her to worry. He had promised, so he would return.\n\nAnd return he did, near a year after he had left.\n\nHis expression was haunted, as she had known it would be. None who sacrificed what he had could claim to be unaffected… but all the same, he had come back to her.\n\nThey didn't speak, when he returned. They didn't need to. She coiled her body around him, and he clung to her, trembling and shaking. Her heart _ached_ for him… and she cursed this foul existence for demanding such a horrid thing from her beloved human.\n\nSo, she did what she could to take his mind away from that, from his Sin… his _true_ Sin, not what the _Fingers_ would say his Sin was. That started with her speaking finally, telling him that she had found a few names… and that now, they just needed to create the ones that would fill these names.\n\nHer idiot love hadn't understood, not immediately. Then, however, she had presented herself to him, as silly a sight that likely was given their size disparity. But he got the message then, and like someone had flicked a switch inside him, he became _excited_! And that pleased her like nothing else.\n\nWell, nothing else _except_ her womb being filled with _intent_ this time.\n\nAnd they had another few months of bliss… though it could not last, as things like this never could.\n\n**[=]**\n\n“After I claim the throne,\" he began, rather abruptly as they watched the stars above them. She turned her head to look at him, curiosity suffusing her. It wasn't in question that he would claim the throne now… she didn't know that it ever was, in truth. He would not be giving up, even should the Grace choose to cease guiding him. That was just as he was.\n\nAnd she loved him all the more for it.\n\n“After you claim the throne,\" she pressed, causing him to chuckle.\n\nThen he took a deep breath, letting it out in a heavy sigh. “After I claim the throne,\" he continued, his voice slow, methodical. “I… will be leaving here. This world, I mean.\"\n\nThe world around her froze. Her heart pumped ice through her veins. Thoughts of betrayal suffused her mind… but she forced herself not to react.\n\nThis was her love. Her human. Her mate. He who has fathered her children… no, he would _never_ betray her. She knew that in her soul.\n\n“Where are we going then?\" she asked, her tone mild as a test.\n\nTo her surprise, and no small relief, he _sagged_ with relief. “Thank the gods,\" he whispered, shuddering. “I… I had feared that you wouldn't wish to come with me…\"\n\nA fierce, roaring torrent of love suffused her then. He hadn't even _considered_ leaving her… as she knew he wouldn't. “You truly are my idiot,\" she laughed, shaking her great head in amusement. “My love… you are _mine_, as I am yours. That will _never_ change. I know you will _always_ come back to me… and if you cannot, then I must simply go with you. That, my love, is how this works.\"\n\nThe relief on his face was beautiful. Then he shook himself, humming as he looked up at the sky. “I would have it no other way,\" he murmured. Then he smiled wryly. “As for where… I'm not sure. It could be any number of locations, but… I will say that it is going to be a place far, _far_ different from here. Far better, in some ways… far worse in others, I am certain. However… so long as you are with me, I have no doubt we will be just fine.\"\n\nShe raised her chin at that, puffing out her chest slightly. “Of course we will be,\" she informed him, humming. “You are mine, after all.\"\n\n“Now and Forever,\" he murmured, and she found that she liked the sound of those words. Then he shook himself. “Well. Since my last fear is dealt with… we should leave for the Ashen Capital tomorrow.\"\n\nShe quirked a brow at that. “Leyndell?\" she hazarded, and he nodded. She pondered at his words for a moment, before deciding that it didn't matter. “Then that is what we shall do.\"\n\n**[=]**\n\nShe wished that she could say that she was of great help in the final battle. In truth, however… well. Her mate was by and far the most powerful being in the Lands Between.\n\nHe _annihilated_ Radagon. Then, against the Elden Beast… well, _she_ could defeat _that_ slow monstrosity.\n\nIt was awfully pretty though, she could admit.\n\nAnd here they were, standing before the shattered remains of Marika the Eternal… who was also Radagon… both mother and father of Malenia and Miquella… and… she shuddered, forcing that thought aside. It was _far_ too confusing.\n\nHow does one impregnate themselves?!\n\n… and why did that sound so _attractive_?!\n\nShe blamed the hormones.\n\n“Are you ready, my love?\" he asked her, looking up at her. She looked down at him, and smiled, nodding her head in agreement.\n\nHe turned back to Marika, picked up her head, and started to place it back atop her shoulders… only to pause. He hesitated, causing her worry to spike. Had they missed something?\n\n“Er, my love?\" he said, his voice embarrassed and uncertain.\n\n“Yes?\" she asked, drawing the final syllable out. He flashed her a nervous grin.\n\n“So, don't be mad, but… what is your name?\" he asked.\n\nShe froze, staring at him. Then she reeled back in shock and surprise as she realized that… she didn't know _his_ name either. There was a brief moment of silence, before she reared her head back and _laughed_.\n\n_To think,_ she thought, still laughing. _After all these years, all that we have with each other, all that we_ love _each other… and not once did either of us stop to introduce ourselves!_\n\n“I am Lannseax,\" she informed him, once she got her laughter under control. He sagged with relief. “And, my love… might I know the name of he who has captured my heart and fathered my children?\"\n\nHer love gave her a blinding smile. “I am Jhon Rautio,\" he informed her, and she _finally_ felt everything click into place for her.\n\n_To think,_ Lannseax thought, staring at her lover, her human, her Jhon, as he started to place Marika's head atop her shoulders once more. _That all of this… all that has happened, all that we are… was the result of something so simple, yet so nonsensical as well._\n\n_Blind Luck._\n\n_Fin_","series":{"name":"Fanfictions","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/2069536-blind-luck.json"}}
