# the passing : In memory of Rob Author: Ginsenshi Tags: Death, Guide dog blind, gay relationship, roen the passing: in   mamoreyum  Aki-hikari in memory  of  Guide dog: RobBirth: December 20, 2013 - death: Feb 8th, 2024 the  text came  in in the afternoon, when  Roen  and  Alex where  just  sitting  down to dinner, with the  boys settled in and eating. Roen  put  in a airpod and  read the  message  about  Aki-hikari ) bright light) was wasn't eating dinner  and  for  a lab that wasn't  right. Jessie informed  him  that Aki hikari's appointment was  moved to the  next day. Roen's stomach fell out , his appetmtent disaperting. \*\*\*\*\*\* The  text  came in  the  next day, informing  Roen and Alex  Aki-hikari  had passed  over the rainbow bridge. the  feelings  from  losing  Kuro  came  back  with a flow  of  memories, this  time Aki-hikari was  only 10, he  had just  moved  in with  jessie a  few week after  his 10th birthday. Kuro  was at the end  of  his life nearly at 13. The  bone cancer    moved  quickly after the  simple appointment for  what was  thought  to be  a  gum infection. the feelings  of being  able to  do nothing filled Roen just  after the tex messaget. Alexheld Roe as he  cried. They  knew it was  coming, but  still the pain  filled his  heart. Author's note: the events  of  this mirror, what's  been  happening with my  second  guide dog rob. I've  been waiting on my  3rd guide dog from either  Guide dogs  for the  blind  or  Guiding Eyes  for the blind  which ever  finds me a match first. needless to  say  I do badly  memnally without a dog  in the  house.
