Of all the sexual themes in this book, I feel like one above all needs broaching with consideration for anyone who may take offence. There are strong master-pet roles in this novel, and form the premise of the story as is develops. As there is coercion into this kink, this can be inferred as non-consensual, however, the implication is that there is always a choice. This is a fantasy book and not representative of real life situations, as such the characters and narrative make light of this sensitive topic of sexual ownership as something that is easily adopted or enjoyed. Please go into the book knowing that this is intentionally erotic with these themes present for the sake of sexual gratification for the reader who may enjoy such content, and not an outward opinion of what should happen in everyday life, especially in relationships where a power dynamic could be influenced or encouraged by the normalisation portrayed in this novel.  
  
Before I talk about the kinks, I want to also make very clear that the werewolves in this novel are over the age of 18 and all have anatomically correct genitals. This means that they have canine penises and sheaths. This was a tough decision for me to choose between this or giving them human penises or some hybrid of the two. Overall, I believe this decision to have been the correct one, considering the logistics of werewolf anatomy that had to be heavily considered in the narrative of this fantasy.

Aside from sex, there are a some other cautionary scenes, including some mild gore, stressful scenarios, and detailed recounts of traumatic past experiences including war. This is a novel about building meaningful relationships with sex as a conduit. It's not all porn.
