# [Poetry] The Day Before Everything

The poetry bug bit me again. Felt like uploading this one. Not strictly furry, although surprisingly anthropomorphic.

Did Entropy sit back  
     swirling a cup of tea with a spoon  
And have no intention to drink it  
     until it had cooled enough not to burn her lips?  
  
Did Gravity toss a ball  
     of nothing to himself  
And whistle a tune unwritten  
     basking in the rays of stars yet to be born?  
  
Did Eternity tuck her children in  
     with a loving kiss goodnight  
And wish them sweet dreams   
     of the universe yet to come?  
  
Is there a weekend between crunch and bang  
     for the rules of reality  
To idle and relax  
     before there are things to rule?
