I don't even remember the last time I had so many ideas at once.","content":"I used to take care of you,\n\nmy dearest dragon.\n\nWe lived in our home,\n\nwell fed and well warmed,\n\nreading books for you,\n\nyou were happy,\n\nand I was too.\n\n  \n\nWe all lived together then,\n\nin our small town.\n\nYou had dragon friends,\n\nI befriended keepers,\n\nwe were a nice group,\n\nI'd laugh when your\n\nscaled friends booped you.\n\n  \n\nThen you know too well what happened,\n\nmy dear missed dragon.\n\nThere was some bad stuff,\n\nbecause of one dragon,\n\nit was not your fault,\n\nbut everyone\n\nnow judged you all.\n\n  \n\nNow we are no more allowed\n\nto meet each other.\n\nBeyond these skyscrapers,\n\nyou're somewhere out there,\n\nflying above the trees,\n\nnow undesired\n\nby my whole kin.\n\n  \n\nSince then, my only nice moments,\n\nmy dearest dragon,\n\nis when once a year\n\nI hike to your den\n\nand hug you once more,\n\nmaking sure that\n\nwe are alone.\n\n  \n\nI never dared ask if you're fine,\n\nliving by yourself.\n\nI never talked 'bout\n\nhow much I missed you;\n\njust reading our books\n\nis fine for me,\n\nlike we used to.\n\n  \n\nAnd then, when I get back my home,\n\nmy dear missed dragon,\n\nI swallow my tears,\n\nand pray that one day,\n\nthey forget the past,\n\nand your kin be\n\nno more outcast."}
