This is a poem that started with me watching and really enjoying Spider-Man: NWH back when it originally came out and a title, a bit of a lengthy title but one I chose to stick with. At the time it took a few weeks after seeing the movie to make this poem something I was satisfied with. Contains minor spoilers and reference to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Based this on something from a specific scene. Originally posted this April 2022

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;By: A.X. After everything I've done I should have really expected this

Still I knew this was the right, no the responsible thing to do after I made that spell go amiss

I know you say 'expect disappointed that way you're never disappointed' but I can't help but be just a bit

I was hoping I'd manage to make everything okay the way heroes are supposed to&nbsp;

And in a way I did with a lot of help from others along the way including other me's and definitely you

But by the end the cost was almost too high; my Aunt May, almost all of reality and your memories of all we've been through&nbsp;

She used to say 'when you help someone you help everyone' and that's what I chose to do&nbsp;

I wanna believe I did what was best to help everybody especially you and Ned&nbsp;

By truly starting anew and going through with the spell that has erased other's memories of my life disconnecting every thread&nbsp;

Considering how another Spider-Man needed to catch you when everything was getting chaotic

What could have happened simply filled me with too much dread&nbsp;

There's too much darkness I could fall into that we both saw that day&nbsp;

But that's over with now after all I cured the goblin thanks to the intervention of those other Peter Parkers and the example of May&nbsp;

I've got to keep what she stood for going even if she is ...gone

Regarding you I hope to make you remember me again someday&nbsp;

But for now it's okay that you've moved on&nbsp;

You helped me deal with a wizard&nbsp;

Fight a lizard along with an octopus, sand and electricity man&nbsp;

I may not be amazing right now but I can still try to be as Spider-Man and Peter Parker again doing all I can

One day I hope that I can give you this letter at a better time for you to remember again

In the meantime I know you're safe MJ without the issue of being known as “Spider-Man's girlfriend"

You truly are someone special to me which is why I know you'll do amazing in college&nbsp;

As for me I'm starting anew creating a new home for myself and I know for us at least this is far from the end&nbsp;
