I’ve been a fool most of tonight, I managed to break my own heart

It was mostly delusions, with jus a bit of truth in each part

Getting up again, I’m not surprised, I actually laughed a bit

This path is too well known, the same steps taken, the journey won’t ever, really quit

Mistakes made seem like drugs, when I see what I could take

It’s easy for past moments smilin’, they always appear when I’m awake

Once more into what I can only pretend is not going to end the same

A helping hand stands out, it’s rom my ol’ friend, pure shame

At least tonight, I won’t have to go home

Those walls still remind me, I’m still alone

Morning won’t take, too long

This night shouldn’t end, too wrong

…after all…

These feeling aren’t, too strong
