Immortal spread out within the massive environment. Every so often I'd get an update from most of our group. The only one who I hadn't seen in a while was Kiff. He lived in his own world. At this point it started not to concern me in what he did. The group had really settled down in all. There was far less violent behavior among the group that was outside of Immortal. We too have not acted in any violence; it was Gatomon's most report coming in that always got me worried.\n\nGatomon said, \"There are too many new creatures coming to this world for me to keep track of. Only one has really come out of the box so vibrantly.\"\n\nI asked \"Is that so?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"His name is Shoutmon. It appears in a dance club not too far from here. Rumor has it that he claims himself to be the new sex trend. Claims to be better than Veemon too, I sent Veemon over there to check it out.\"\n\nI asked, \"You know those two are going to end up having sex right?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Most likely. It doesn't disturb me in the slightest and might as well get it out of the way now.\"\n\nI said, \"I see...anything else.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Then there's Kiff.\"\n\nI asked, \"So you've been keeping an eye on him too. What's he been up to?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"He killed another Immortal member he thought was worthless. He killed Gomamon.\"\n\nI said, \"At this rate...\"\n\nGatomon said, \"He's right in doing so. Gomamon had nothing to do with this. He has been worthless ever since he first arrived. There's no harm in taking out the garbage around here.\"\n\nI said, \"I suppose so. So let me ask you something then.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"What?\"\n\nI asked, \"If Kiff never killed Scourge does that mean Wings is alive to?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"I'd image if he's alive he'd claim a new name. He'd most likely change his appearance too.\"\n\nI said, \"You seem to know a lot. So I take it that you're actually trying to protect him.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Protect is such a harsh accusation. There is a reason why I let him live.\"\n\nI asked, \"Is that so?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"He's going help me get some demons.\"\n\nI asked, \"Demons, how so?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"You mean you haven't figured out that I'm part demon. After all; my real father is Myotismon. So he's part demon. I figure it's time we let some more demons come here. I heard all about a memory mix up that's building up. Figure I get outside help to figure this out. After all; my sister is now involved in this.\"\n\nI said, \"A mind mix up. Figures something like this would happen. Just when I thought things were getting better another problem arises.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"So you had nothing to do with this?\"\n\nI said, \"No. I wouldn't go around making things worse. We were so close to having peace.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"So how do we fix it?\"\n\nI said, \"I bet those outside Immortal are already looking for solutions. As for you, I want you to confirm what Wizardmon told me.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Confirm what?\"\n\nI said, \"He said something about another Digimon returning a Digimon that has been gone for a while and has returned. He said he didn't come alone.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"What about you?\"\n\nI said, \"I will retire.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Retire? What about Immortal?\"\n\nI asked, \"You can't sense it, can you? That group was over before it began. I was fooling myself thinking it would save us. I don't know what it is that the future holds for us. I image that whatever happens next will change the landscape of this world forever. Truth is I have very little power here. It has always been up to creatures to decide their own fate.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"So you never had a real desire for me and Veemon to be together.\"\n\nI said, \"Well you did bring Yill into this world. That is special and I hold on to a moment like that dearly. There is no need for such a serious relationship; no. I did need Yill. I knew you two would bring him to me. He's the only one who came seem to keep Kiff in real check. I know very well Kiff is very dangerous. He actually scares me sometimes. I know you've had so much trouble keeping your love life in check. I have never felt love. I guess that is why this world is the way it is.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Veemon has changed too much for me. He's more into guys anyway. Maybe Shoutmon might just be the one. I really screwed up with Patamon...\"\n\nI said, \"There is also Impmon to consider.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Why?\"\n\nI said, \"We messed with him. You two grew up together working under the same boss; your own father. Impmon's will was broken long ago. His mind was warped into becoming such a villainous type of creature. He tried to change when he came here. But it was too late for him. Then we came back and we screwed with his mind again. And now you have to topple the memory issue on top of that. Impmon has been crushed since birth. He has never had the chance of true happiness. Even if you haven't considered trying to love him it would be good if you could try to help him.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Why me?\"\n\nI said, \"You might be the only creature who can talk some sense into him at least. I can feel his presence; Impmon has long lost his sanity. You two grew up together. You're practically like brother and sister. If there is anyone who can make him sane again, it's you. Plus I have a feeling were going to need him. He might be the missing puzzle peace in this memory problem.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"What makes you so sure?\"\n\nI said, \"His memories are the most mixed. However he seems to have the most memories that are real more than any of us including me. The Digimon who have returned I feel as well will have a major impact. That's why I need you to do those two things. I'm counting on you to make the future right. Gatomon I might never have been sure how destiny would play out but there was always one thing I always thought you were destined for.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"What would that be?\"\n\nI said, \"Saving the world. You have always been trapped between good and evil. I would hope that this is the last chapter in madness. That is why I choose you. I was hoping that this choice will allow you to finally brake out of this cruel fate that you've always seemed to be in. Not once have you've ever been called the hero. I always felt that one day that you would be. I can't always count on Veemon; after all his kind of becoming a knucklehead; but in a good way.\"\n\nGatomon turned around in tears and said, \"Right, than you can count on me.\"\n\nI asked, \"This means you're no longer apart of this group called Immortal. I was a fool for letting Shadow talk me into creating that. If anyone ever really deserved to die it is him and his long time partner Silver.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Is this really how it ends?\"\n\nI asked, \"How what ends? Immortal?\"\n\nGatomon cried, \"My sadness. I've wanted it to go away for so long. No one has ever given me the opportunity to shine like this. I've always crept closer to the side of evil for so long. Will this one good dead really wash my entire past away.\"\n\nI said, \"That's entirely up to you. You have so much turmoil to face. And there might be times in this were might even go back to the darkness. But none of that matters. All that matters is how you turn out in the end.\"\n\nGatomon chuckled, \"When did you become so good at making such emotional speeches.\"\n\nI said, \"I've been watching too much television. You mentioned demons... One show I watched has demons; Zatch Bell. He was quite popular. Who knows maybe one of the demons you're son might conjure up is him.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"I should probably tell you my Son's new name huh?\"\n\nI said, \"I was going to ask you anyway.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"His name is Kade. His Wings were cut pretty badly so he just tore them off. He's gotten a lot of work done on his body. He doesn't look anything like his father anymore. His all tattooed up; he changed; he looks like a purple creature.\"\n\nI asked, \"You kept him alive not just for the demons?\"\n\nGatomon answered, \"I have a feeling he has much more to offer. He can only help.\"\n\nI said, \"Kiff won't be too happen when he finds out.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Yill has had him busy. I think it will take a while for him to figure out.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Meanwhile in the jungles of Africa Monmon was in a temple with a long staff. His crown signified that he was King here. The monkey-like Digimon flipped down and said, \"It time to begin.\"\n\nMonmon worked his way into the villages where he was greatly worshiped. Standing next to him was the Digimon that was going to make the greatest deal in impact. Dorumon was finally out of the shadows.\n\nDorumon said, \"It is time to kill Veemon. That will draw the real creature out. The one we have to kill to fix this mess. Veemon will never the regret the day he decided to mess with me. He'll pay for what he did to me the Digital world.\"\n\nMonmon said, \"Come we no waste time.\"\n\nThey went to their boat they had ready.\n\nDorumon asked, \"Was Shoutmon stationed near them already.\"\n\nMonmon said, \"Yes.\"\n\nDorumon said, \"Excellent then let our revenge begin.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Down in the club Shoutmon was already referred to as the dancing master. Veemon was lured to how Gatomon referred to Shoutmon as a creature who knew how to get it on. The red hard rocker of justice was one persona he carried out so heavily. He was deeply bewildered by the flow of Metal music. He's dream here on earth was to become the world's greatest Metal vocalist. He was well on his as his reputation followed him all the way here. Veemon cut through the crowd to see Shoutmon on stage dancing away. He had a custom made microphone that could turn into a spear with the hit of a button. Veemon looked up and awed and was easily aroused by Shoutmon's rather unique style of dirty dancing. Shoutmon was already well aware of Veemon's appearance there. Shoutmon was like a wild stallion. He wouldn't be contained; he always had a drive to be free. It was here in this club where he sought out his ultimate freedom most since he got here. Veemon was staggered and unsure how to approach such a wild creature. Shoutmon pointed right at Veemon and gave a 'come here' signal. As Shoutmon backed up as if to make room to Veemon to step up; all Veemon could do was blush. Shoutmon ran and leaped over Veemon doing a spring board spin flip facing Veemon off stage. Veemon turned around to look at Shoutmon amazed his talents.\n\nShoutmon grabbed his custom mike and yelled into it, \"Hey you. I haven't seen you before.\"\n\nThe club full capacity crowd looked at both Veemon and Shoutmon as a light was turned to Veemon. Veemon held his hand up to block the brightness.\n\nShoutmon talked into the mike some more, \"So tell me who are you?\"\n\nVeemon extended out his hand and introduced, \"I'm Veemon.\"\n\nShoutmon looked down, \"From the look of it you look a little over excited to see me.\"\n\nVeemon looked down and covered up his erection. The crowd laughed. Veemon tried to chuckle it off as well.\n\nShoutmon said, \"You should know I really do hang that way. On rare occasions some partners stay together longer but it never last. It's never meant to. Even Patamon seemed to not to want to continue searching for answers at this point. There was enough confusion to sort out and keep them on edge. BlackGatomon had returned at Scourge's side ready to give him another chance. Patamon sat alone he had long wondered how much more of this they would have to put up with before it was resolved.\n\nPatamon thought 'It's strange even with all this memory stuff. There are still things that I still strongly believe in. I still strongly believe in my relationship with Gatomon. My heart tells me now more than ever that we did have a son. Everything else seems like a blur. It feels so clear. Could it be that it is a true memory. The ones we really believe in with all our hearts. This world has been so mysterious with ever problem we solve another one just seems to topple over it. This one seems to be the biggest yet. She entered in the cave to see Impmon shivering the corner.\n\nGatomon asked, \"Are you ok?\"\n\nImpmon slowly turned around and trembled, \"Ga...Gatomon.\"\n\nGatomon gave a warm smile, \"Yeah that's right. You remember me?\"\n\nImpmon shivered, \"I hurt you. I tried to rape your human partner.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"Human partner?\"\n\nImpmon cried, \"Kari. I tried to... You were there in my moment of weakness. I tried to hurt you so much.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"I never heard of Kari. I don't what you're talking about.\"\n\nImpmon asked, \"Was that a lie too. I can't tell anymore. There was an orb. And I controlled a mafia. Was that a lie too?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"You have so many suppressed memories inside you. Some mix with others. I wouldn't know.\"\n\nImpmon said, \"All this mixes in me. This world was like a poison.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"What about the Digital world?\"\n\nImpmon said, \"I feared the digital world under Myotismon watch.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"That is clear memory for you. As horrifying as it was everything that happened then was real.\"\n\nImpmon said, \"Even back then I tried to hurt you. I never meant to...I feared our master so much. I had no power. He forced me to do such terrible things to you.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Truth is I had been there so long things that you did only made me stronger. I've never said this before but it was actually your actions that gave me the courage to move forward and stand up for myself.\"\n\nImpmon cried, \"If it wasn't for you I would have died by now.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"How's that?\"\n\nImpmon said, \"It was the one time we were outside the castle just me and you. I actually talked by how the darkness felt that you said...\"\n\nGatomon said, \"I was born into the darkness but I never gave in. That I'd keep forging ahead until I reached the light.\"\n\nImpmon said, \"Back then I laughed it off but deep down those words resonated in my heart to this day. I always had fear inside my heart, but seeing how determined you became changed me.\"\n\nGatomon smirked, \"I actually found it cute that you always called me doll face.\"\n\nImpmon said, \"You knew I always liked you. You took every punishment I was forced to give you and yet you act like your forgiving me.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"It's because I've always endured what my father forced me to do. And long before I rebelled against him, I saw it in your eyes you wanted to change. I saw that your fear was overwhelming.\"\n\nImpmon cried, \"I wish I could be as strong as you.\"\n\nGatomon asked, \"But you did. You came here to break from the past. Ever since you got here it's been ten times worse. Event after event and it always seemed to involve you.\"\n\nImpmon knelt down, \"I don't know if I can make it. Nothing makes since.\"\n\nGatomon smiled warmly, \"It's because you're still in the darkness and you haven't found the light. But that doesn't mean you should stop searching.\"\n\nImpmon looked up and wept even more, \"I'll just screw up. Truth is I left because the last Myotismon told me to do was find you; and kill you.\"\u0026nbsp;\n\nGatomon back up just a bit, \"Were you going to?\"\n\nImpmon said, \"I'd never. I just needed to tell him something he'd believe in. I can't go back to that world ever again. However with such an increase in Digimon coming here I fear he too will find a way here.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"You're worried he'll come back. I highly doubt he will.\"\n\nImpmon asked, \"What makes you so sure.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Right before I came to the digital world I saw Veemon kill him.\"\n\nImpmon asked, \"Veemon? Veemon killed Myotismon?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Patamon and Dorumon were there too. Myotismon entrusted me in brining all three of them into his army. I brought them all and left it to them to handle the rebellion I just couldn't handle alone. But Veemon, he was so strong. He handled it.\"\n\nImpmon said, \"I don't remember Veemon to well. All my memories with him are all mixed up.\"\n\nGatomon said, \"Don't worry about that. What matters most is that we both are fine and here in one piece.\"\n\nImpmon stood up and said, \"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything.\"\n\nGatomon turned around, \"Don't be. The past has only made me stronger...\"\n\nImpmon blushed, \"The reason why I never stopped doubting you is... I always really liked you. That is one memory that has always been so clear cut in stone.\"\n\nGatomon turned back to Impmon, \"Impmon... I remember you said that to me once before. I didn't believe you completely. It was here on this planet. You said that once and I saw it in your eyes it was when you were first trying to change. You ran off...\"\n\nImpmon said, \"I was afraid you'd hate me. I was only cruel, but why is it that you keep acting like you believe in me?\"\n\nGatomon said, \"That isn't an act. I do believe in you. And as tough as my relationships have been I can accept that you had feelings for me. It's only natural...\"\n\nImpmon said, \"It wasn't just natural. When you said those words I felt it; Love, real love.\"\u0026nbsp;\n\nGatomon blushed, \"It's not just because you thought I was beautiful.\"\n\nImpmon cried, \"It was so much more than that. I always admired how strong you were when you rebelled against your father. You kept trying to save me from the darkness. No matter I far I fell you always lent me your hand. You slowly washed away some of my fear. I felt real warmth. You've always been so much stronger than me. Your heart and you bravery have always been the things I've admired.\"\n\nGatomon came closer, \"Don't just say I'm strong. Because without I wouldn't be. And you've endured a lot to which has made you stronger.\"\n\nGatomon embraced Impmon with a hug. Impmon wept as the warm feeling overwhelmed him. It was the first time he truly felt happy. When Gatomon drew back they stared into each other's eyes. Gatomon leaned in and kiss Impmon. Impmon grew back.\n\nImpmon said, \"You love someone else. You love Patamon. This isn't right.\"\n\nGatomon looked down, \"Patamon left me. His heart has become corrupt with real evil. He went into the darkness purposely.
