Bueno\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\n \n\nNot fully in sight\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nYou almost fade into the background in a world that sees mainly black and white\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nBut you know in your heart that you're there too\n\n \n\nYou've got a color that's it's own unique hue\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nIt's not easy to see so there are those who make presumptions and dismiss it\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nBut you know what you are and to that you try and stay true\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nStill there are presumptions and offhand remarks that hurt more than you can admit\n\n \n\nMake you doubt and question and feel lesser than you actually are\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nSome do it without even trying or acknowledging\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nWhile others are a bit more callous as they pick at your sore spots and scars\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nThe language you still struggle with, what you look like, the way you act\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAll that and maybe a few things more that are hard to handle when they come\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nSometimes right at you and sometimes from behind your back\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nBut things have gotten better you feel sure\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nIt took plenty of time and self improvement but you feel your place is mostly secure\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nIn the world that is and also where you are now\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nYou've carved out a place for yourself and in some ways you're not fully sure how\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nYou've had a lot of people test you and what you know yourself to be\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nSome invalidated you but you're still here and still you despite what you couldn't make them see\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAnd it's become easier for others to grasp what your appearance doesn't make obvious\n\n \n\nWhich fills you with a bit of soul deep glee\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nThat said the space you've carved in between those perceptions of color wasn't done by you alone\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nThere are plenty of others who've helped you as you've grown\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nBut ultimately it's still your space made in defiance of those who persist\n\n \n\nIn spite of those who will deny the complex mix of colors out there in the world\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nSomething that should be clear just by realizing people like you exist  \n\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;"}
