A broken cold old piece of coal for a heart

Seems to be beating again, it found a spark

  

Not a flame, but living warmly all the same

It’s emotions aren’t all found in shame

  

Eyes seem to gleam 

Not sure why, but I’m floating down an empty stream 

  

A dream I had once left in my past

I gave up on what I knew couldn’t last

  

An unexpected trip down memory lane

I’m not sure anymore, if I’m sane

  

We will eventually see…

It’s somewhat still known, but new, to me
