I couldn't shake just how nice it was outside even though it's October.","content":"October the Beautiful\n\nThe green is staying longer\n\nThe leaves refuse to turn\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe bite of chilly mornings\u0026nbsp;\n\nHardly but a nibble\n\nThe lanternflies like locusts\n\nDescend upon the deck\n\nI've smashed at least a hundred\n\nWrung out their rosy necks\n\nBut don't you love it?\n\nI thought you hated cold?\u0026nbsp;\n\nIsn't it nice to walk in sun?\n\nWith no worries at all?\n\nNo leaves to claw at ankles\n\nTo pull you into Winter\n\nNo cozy clothes to soothe you\n\nFor Nature's nearing slumber\n\nSoon October will be June\n\nAnd January will be August\n\nAnd June will kill 'bout half\n\nSo please come on outside!\n\nWhile we all still can","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/2143497-i-ll-try-to-pencil-you-in.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/2188160-diagnosis-code-z7253.json"}}
