I had a bad dream again, some old goals came true I hadn’t thought clear

I was finally not alone, but nobody was near

I had regret for making a dream come true meant for others all the while

I had lost myself, but held a perfect fake smile

I woke with such a scream

The horrible reality had followed me out of the dream 

It was such a real nightmare 

It made me look back in my foggy mental mirror, & jus stare
