Bueno\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\n \n\nThe value of many years of work\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nIs something they consider only when it makes profits stay high and things go smooth\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nEven when it hasn't been long but you do a lot\u0026nbsp; and they let you go in a way that'll irk\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nTreating it so inevitably and casually not even trying to soothe\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nThe burning sting of being laid off or fired as they let you go\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAll those years where you gave them so much of your time and gave them your all\n\n \n\nBut you're still at the mercy of the corporate ladder especially by those seeking to grow\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nMeaning someone else's relentless climb to the top can also be your unfair fall\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nPlus they can be not only below but above as they cause stress to build\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAnd good days at work become harder to recall\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nTill we're back at the job letting you go with probably feeling relieved yet unfulfilled\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAs there's so much of your life that'll have to be rebuilt, remade\n\n \n\nFor your troubles you'll be left with your awards and accolades\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAnd probably not even severance\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nThinking about all praise and awards you got that never came with a raise\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nNow you've got to figure out what next to do\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nAll these years and they force you to bounce back now\u0026nbsp;\n\n \n\nWith whatever experience and money you've got left and all the keepsakes they gave you \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;  \n\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;"}
