Empty Field  
  
He walked across a barren field  
As he looked up and began to yield  
His hand across a moonlit sky  
As he gave a smile and began to sigh  
"I've done about all i can do  
And done it all just for you two"  
He then looked down and began to cry  
His fist now clenched had screamed out "Why!"  
Because now his parents were both dead  
Their fate unjust an untimely end  
He then reached up to grab a star  
And wondered why they left him so far  
He closed his eyes because he was sad  
His memories of them was all he had  
Because now he was left all alone  
With no one else but himself to hold
