{"sf1_id":221461,"sf2_id":"A1pZKXMm","title":"Sunrise of the Soul","author":"Leaving, to main","words":452,"posted_at":"2011-02-11T14:59:00.000Z","tags":["Love","Poetry","inspiring"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/221461-sunrise-of-the-soul","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/A1pZKXMm","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/39/e4/39e42b76-813c-45ea-95f3-9a458e5313ba","description":"","content":"\u0026nbsp;\n\nSunrise of the soul\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nCan I hear the heartbeat of another coming closer to my own?\n\nThere's only one thing that can get as close and I block that pain away again\n\nHelp me see the light of the world as the sun goes down from its throne\n\nThe stars come up and light the sky the bright light reflecting into my eyes\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe blood I have spilt has been forgiven by my other half\n\nI'm at war with myself tearing the world into tiny bits\n\nHelp me I cry to the empty room\n\nAnd only one hears my pleas and replies\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe sunrise comes once again washing away the sin as the ray's peak up from the sky\n\nI stretch out to it feeling the warmth coming from inside\n\nThen I look to the world in the light of the brand new day and smile\n\nAs the day creeps by I fill with sin again and begin to cry\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSeeing that the cycle never ends I push away the pain and try to live\n\nGetting through life alone is never enough\n\nSo I get through life day to day thinking of only you to save\n\nI want to help and never cause pain but love for others never works that way\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI brush away the leaves that have fallen so close to my heart\n\nTake away the pain of myself and push it towards the sky\n\nLet the stars take me away to where I belong\n\nI wish for someone to understand and believe the things I say and need\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI hoped and prayed everyday for a lover like you\n\nNever finding it among the thorns of the rose\n\nI hold on tight to what I have found\n\nAnd give all my love but take on your pain as my own\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI begged to be yours for all of time and was rewarded by the same reply\n\nI lift my eyes towards the stars and let them take us both away\n\nTo a little world of our own the light taking away both our pain\n\nThe sun stretches out to me feeling the warmth of love and needing its ownI fill to the brim and watch the spring come again\n\nAs your hand leads us away from the wintry thoughts of death\n\nWe kiss to seal the promise of true love and watch as summer comes into bloom\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe blood I have spilt has been forgiven by my other half\n\nI was at war with myself tearing the world into tiny bits\n\nHelp me I cry to the empty room\n\nAnd only one hears my pleas and replies that one being you\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
