Ever since that last bad day

I don’t let myself get carried away

  

Time stopping in mind more than I’d like to think 

The days now truly pass like a blink

  

Greedy for more tomorrows

I don’t feel down with my personal sorrows

  

Too much, truly, isn’t bad yet

So I’ll try, & live with no real regret 

  

A fool I’ll gladly be, if it leaves me honestly happy

  

The lights are still on, it’s jus harder to see for me

In life, what will be, will still be
