Sitting by her is her new husband  \nJoe, whom she just married a little over a day ago. She looks at him, right now. He is  \nchugging down a beer. He belches, looks over at her and shrugs his shoulders. She just shakes  \nher head and thinks about her life.  \n  \nShe was born Feb. 5, 1969, she had a good childhood. That was until May 25, 1979, her  \nparents were on American Airlines flight 191. The DC-10 was taking off when one of the  \nengines came off when it was taking off. There were no survivors, she was very ill at the time  \nand was in the care of her aunt. Her aunt and uncle raised her since then, later on she did  \nsome research on the accident at Chicago. That is when she found out American Airlines was  \ncutting corners to save money. Her aunt and uncle sued the air line for the death of her  \nparents. Her father was Mary's brother. Her uncle Steve, Mary's husband died of heart attack  \nwhen she was a junior at high school.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; She didn't go in the military, she registered for the draft and went to the University of  \nWashington. To study economics, accounting, and psychology. She dated in high school and  \ncollege. She got married at the age of twenty-two, that marriage lasted three years. Her first  \nhusband left her because she couldn't have kids. She tried to keep her first husband, saying  \nthey can adopt a kid. But he didn't want to, he just left her.  \n  \nAfter her first husband left her, she got the banking job she has now. The years went by she  \ndated a few different guys. Her last boyfriend broke-up with her four months ago. Then that  \nday almost four months ago. Joe walks into her bank, looks over at her and walks up to her  \ndesk to open a checking account. He stood at five foot nine and had very dark brown hair  \nalmost black. Green brown eyes, slight build and scruffy looking. While he filling out forms  \nshe noticed his hands were scarred and his finger nails were broke down to the finger tips. A  \nsign of somebody who does hard work.  \n  \nHe always did something so that she was the person that helped him, when he deposited  \nhis paycheck. Her boss Samantha, an African American, told her he's flirting with her. Then,  \nthe attempted robbery. The robber's only weapon was a knife, he had her as a hostage. He was  \nyelling. He waves the knife in front of him. She felt some thing hit the robber, and he dropped  \ndead. She turned and saw Joe holding one of the pillars that had those velvet ropes in his  \nhands. That was the first time she saw him mad. The police showed up and arrested him for  \nstopping a bank robbery. Samantha was calling the policemen all kinds of vulgar names when  \nthey hauled Joe off to jail. She called her aunt, told her what happened. Mary was mad at the  \npolice for the arrest, and she got a hold of her lawyer.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp;  \nA little later, her aunt shows up with her lawyer. They drove to the police precinct. The  \nlawyer got Joe out real fast. While he was walking out the holding area, his face was bruised  \nand his knuckles were bloodied. He told the lawyer the police didn't give him his phone call  \nand stuck him in with the violent criminals. They tried to have their way with him and tried to  \nkill him. He had to show up for a court the next day. The next day she took a day off to go to  \ncourt. The judge was calling Joe a killer, then the lawyer asks to talk to the judge in his  \nchambers. Ten minutes later the judge and lawyer walked out, the judge had a frightened look  \non his face. The charges were dropped. Joe was a free man. The lawyer and Joe sued the  \nLynnwood police department. Joe was awarded $360,000,00 for pain and suffering. Joe gave  \n$50,000,00 to his parents and the rest was put in an investment account she set up for him. He  \ngave $10,000,00 to her aunt, to pay the lawyer.  \n  \nThey started dating a couple weeks later. She meet his parents and older sister. They were  \nnice people. She liked his mom. She did tell him about her problem, but he didn't care he  \nliked her. She liked him, one thing about Joe, she found out the hard way. He gets really mad  \nwhen guys abuse women. Mary, her aunt didn't seam to mind, she liked him to.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Then that faithful morning, the day before Joe calls her to she how she is doing, she had a  \nheadache and had no energy. She told him she had the flu and she was going to rest so she can  \nsee him the next day. That morning she was feeling better, she was planning to have sex with  \nJoe that day. A week earlier she made an offer on a house he bank reposed. She was planning  \nto move out of the apartment she is living in because Joe hated apartments. All of a sudden  \nshe felt a sharp pain in stomach and her skin felt it was being touch by a flame. She watches  \nas hair grew allover her body. She felt her face lengthen and her teeth changed. Then  \nsomething started poking out of the base of her spine and she saw a tail starting to grow.  \n  \nShe woke up and went to the bathroom fighting the dizziness, her face has change to a  \ncollie. She saw her head was mostly black with a half inch white stripe, witch started at her  \nnose and ended to her hair. Her medium brown hair now had black highlights in it. Below her  \njaw was white to the chest, she was studying herself when she felt her limbs lengthen and she  \ngrew to a height of six feet. Then she felt a numbness in her breasts, she watches as they  \ninflated and her bra started to stretch. Then she felt them firming up and becoming larger.  \nThen she felt a wetness between her legs and she started feeling an itch down there.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; She called Joe to come over to see her, he replied he will be over in an hour. Things are suddenly ground to a  \nscreeching halt. Well don't worry about global warming, with half of the worlds population  \ndead. Half of the machines are not running. Half of the cars are off the road. Less junk being  \nput into the air. Maybe there is hope for the planet, the fall of mankind and the dawn of a new  \nage. Maybe the beings that run the planet now won't make the same mistakes as the humans.  \nShe looked at the ocean, watched as the sun sets into the ocean. She looked at Joe. He was  \nasleep again. She sighed, and watched the ocean.  \n  \nAt a place in Marysville Wash, Mary sits at a desk. Eddie is standing in front of it. He  \nhands some papers to her. \"Well Mary, it doesn't look good. The changes are permanent. The  \npeople in that group are dead. Our sources in the white house came up with the same  \nconclusion. We are going to be like this forever. The human race is now extinct.\"  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; He watches her. She just shakes her head and laughs. She stops and stares at Eddie, he  \nstarts feeling fear inside him. \"Well Eddie, we are just going to change tactics like in a battle  \nfield. With these new problems, means less legal heat on me. I am kinda glad that this is  \npermanent. I haven't seen my niece happy in years. I found out the day before the wedding  \nthat she is going to have twins, by her doctor. I have gotten a hold of Joe's employer, I made  \nsure that he gets a pay raise soon. He is going to be busy raising two kids.\"  \n  \nEddie looks at his boss, for a minute he thought she was going to do something to him. He  \nstays employed with her because the pay is good, she pays more than the department of  \ndefense. That's why he went in the reserves. \"Is there any thing else? You need?\"  \n  \nMary looks up to the ceiling, than looks at him. \"No that will be all for now. See you  \ntomorrow morning, we got to go to New York tomorrow for a meeting, every family is going  \nto be there. The purpose of the meeting is change of tactics. What's left of the legal system is  \ngoing to be busy for years, because of recent events.\"  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Eddie walks out of the office. Mary picks up a picture, looks at it. The picture has a woman  \nwith very light brown hair, a guy with blonde hair a 11-year-old girl with a smile on her face.  \n\"Steve, I wish you were still here to see her smiling.\" She puts the picture back down and  \nstands up, walks out of her office.  \n  \nAt Maui in a hotel room, Joe was asleep in a bed. Shelly had her arms and legs wrapped  \naround him. She was still awake looking out the window. Deciding what to do about her  \nfuture. Maybe she will just go part time at work, more time to raise the kids. She's got time to  \nthink about it. She felt a fetus move, she smiles and goes to sleep.  \n  \n  \nThe End  \n  \n  \nThat's it for this title name, not of Joe and Shelly. I am just going to write single chapter  \nstories for a while, and two chapter ones.
