Cynder was nervous, and Spyro shot her a smile. They noticed that there were already a bunch of people inside of the cave. Sarah and Carl were standing at the edge of the cave, and smiled at the two dragons when they entered. Trice, Amber, Mary, and Jasper were also there, talking in hushed whispers.\n\n“She’s going to be pretty freaked out when she wakes, so we want her to be with some friends and family. As well as her biological parents and daughter.” Michael told Cynder.\n\nShe nodded, and jumped as Aura appeared beside her.\n\n“I also need some help with the summoning.” Michael added.\n\n“She’s also my sister, and I want to meet her.” Aura replied.\n\nMichael, Trice, Bea, and Aura stepped into the center of the cave. Michael grabbed the black core, and set it in the center of the room. The four dragons each took their positions and charged their magic. Their eyes flashed, blue, pink, white, and purple. Suddenly, Michael roared, and a massive burst of blue magic appeared. Michael looked down, and the burst of blue magic started to shape itself into the form of a dragon. Cynder gasped as the bright magic faded to reveal the figure of a black dragoness. The dragoness immediately collapsed with a huff. The four dragons lifted their wings and runes started to form in front of them. The core started to glow, then shattered, causing black smoke to spread out from where it used to be. The runes in front of each of the charged dragons turned black, and the black smoke moved and collided with the collapsed dragon. The black dragoness gasped and coughed, then stopped moving. Aura stumbled, and fell, Michael ran up to her and helped her back up. Aura smiled weakly and walked over to the wall and slid down it.\n\n“You okay?” Spyro asked her.\n\n“Yeah, I’m fine, don’t worry about me.” Aura waved them away.\n\nThe black dragoness gasped and her eyes flickered open. She immediately looked over at Michael.\n\n“Dad?” She groaned.\n\nMichael walked up to her and nuzzled her. She looked around and took in her surroundings, and noticed Jasper, Amber and Mary.\n\n“Guys? What are you all doing here?” Silver spoke. “Where’s Malefor? Where’s my egg?”\n\nShe started to look around frantically, then froze when she saw Cynder. Then she looked back to Michael.\n\n“How long has it been?” She asked.\n\n“Over a hundred years.” Michael told her.\n\nShe looked back to Cynder. “Are you Cynder?”\n\nCynder gulped, and nodded. Silver rushed to get up and ran up to her. Silver froze, and looked Cynder up and down. Then she nuzzled her heavily, making Cynder blush and smile shyly.\n\n“I’m so sorry, for everything.” Silver whispered\n\nShe kept nuzzling Cynder for a while, everybody else was completely silent. Silver looked up and over at Spyro, and smiled at him.\n\n“Are you Rose and Fury’s son?” She asked.\n\n“Mom.” Cynder gulped again. “This is Spyro, my mate.”\n\nSilver gasped, and looked over at Spyro.\n\n“Hi.” She greeted.\n\nSpyro blushed. “Hi.”\n\nMichael walked up to them. “So, quick update, I found your father, then found your mother.”\n\nSilver’s jaw dropped, and she looked over at the two dragons that were standing against the wall. She grabbed Cynder, and walked over to them.\n\n“Hello there.” Carl greeted.\n\nSilver looked between her two biological parents. Cynder tried to back away, but Silver grabbed her, and held her close with her wing.\n\n“Three generations of black dragonesses, all together. Haven’t seen that in a while.” Michael mused\n\n“I told Michael not to look for you, I’m sorry for that.” Silver told them.\n\n“It’s okay, I thought Carl was gone, and had to run back to my family. I didn’t want you to live through what I had to.” Sarah replied. “I never expected you to want to find me.”\n\nSilver walked forward, and pulled Cynder and her parents into a tight hug. Cynder noticed that she was crying, and nuzzled against her. Silver looked over at her.\n\n“Alright, now I want you to tell me everything about you.”\n\nCynder paled, and Sarah glanced over at Sam. Silver didn’t miss these looks.\n\n“What? What happened?” Silver glanced over at Michael. “Dad?”\n\nMichael looked down, and sighed. “Fine, I’ll do it.”\n\nEverybody looked over at him.\n\n“After I was ‘banished’ and after Malefor ‘killed’ you. Almost a hundred years passed before Malefor reached Genrir. The guardians had managed to save Spyro’s egg, but Malefor’s forces took Cynder’s and destroyed the rest.”\n\nSilver gasped, and looked over at the others, who weren’t making eye contact.\n\n“Malefor used magic and the fact that he is her father to hatch Cynder. While Spyro hatched with a family of dragonflies.”\n\n“Where were you?” Silver called.\n\n“Your sister’s mate sent me away, I made sure to stay on Genrir, in the Valley of Souls.”\n\nSilver shrunk back, and Cynder leaned against her for comfort.\n\n“After they had both grown a little older, Malefor discovered a way to corrupt and control Cynder, and used it to corrupt her mind and body.”\n\nSilver looked over to Cynder, who looked down and away from her.\n\n“She was his general, and conquered many. But eventually, Spyro grew up and found Ignitus, and eventually learned about his powers. He found and rescued her, curing her of the corruption, and they both fight and defeat Malefor, and save the planet in the meantime.”\n\nSilver looked utterly devastated.\n\n“I rescued Malefor’s soul, and removed his memories, he will be the same dragon that you knew before he corrupted.” Michael walked up.\n\nSilver nodded, and looked over at Cynder, then over to Spyro.\n\n“Thank you for saving my daughter.”\n\nSpyro nodded, not sure how to respond to her statement.\n\n“And thank you for loving her, despite what she has done while she was corrupted.” Silver added.\n\n“It wasn’t her fault.” Spyro told her\n\n“I hope you can also find it in your heart to forgive Malefor.” She added. “I hope I can too.”\n\nSpyro flinched, and looked over at Cynder, Silver nodded, and turned to the others.\n\n“Anything else?”\n\n“Mary, Jade, Samantha, and Amber all laid eggs.” Michael told her.\n\n“I already knew about Samantha, I heard she was pregnant before we… Left.” Silver replied\n\n“She had another clutch, recently, the same time as Amber.” Michael told her.\n\n“Our oldest son, Camry, is also mated.” Jasper added. “With the princess of Fen.”\n\n“Congratulations.” Silver exclaimed.\n\n“Another thing.” Michael cut in. “It’s an egg year.”\n\n“What?” Silver looked over at Cynder.\n\n“We will be bringing everyone back just in time for you to get grandchildren.” Michael smirked. “How fortunate, it was almost like I rushed things so you guys can make it in time.”\n\n“Is this true?” Silver asked Cynder.\n\nCynder blushed, and nodded. “Yes.”\n\nSilver smiled brightly and nuzzled her daughter. Aura groaned and tried to get up.\n\n“We need to recharge our magic.” Michael explained. “Fury’s next.”\n\n“Hi.” Aura spoke. “I’m Aura, I’m your sister.”\n\nSilver looked over to Michael, who nodded.\n\n“Hi Aura.” Silver smiled.\n\nThey walked out of the cave, and Silver looked over at the city.\n\n“Not much has changed.” She muttered.\n\n“It looks the same, but everything else has changed.” Michael replied.\n\nThey flew up and towards the square. When they landed, Silver looked around and gasped at all the black dragons wandering around.\n\n“When we went to your family’s village, we gave the option for anybody who wishes to leave to do so safely.” Michael told her.\n\nSilver smiled at the group of black dragons, who were smiling and waving at her.\n\n“Your house is still there, Spyro and Cynder have been staying in Fury and Rose’s place.” Michael added\n\nSilver looked over at her house, then over to Cynder’s.\n\n“Would it be okay if I stay with you? At least for now.” Silver asked them.\n\n“Of course.” Spyro told her.\n\nCynder nodded and smiled. “Your always welcome.”\n\nAura landed beside them, and stumbled a bit. Michael helped her to her house.\n\nSilver looked back at Cynder, and sighed. “You look as beautiful as I knew you would be.”\n\nCynder blushed, and Spyro smiled at them.\n\n“You both look exactly the same.” Spyro replied, then blushed when they both looked at him.\n\nThey walked into the house, and sat down at the table. Spyro went into the kitchen and started cooking a meal.\n\n“So..” Cynder rubbed her other arm awkwardly. “All this time waiting, but I’m not sure what to say.”\n\nSilver smiled weakly “Me neither, I couldn’t wait for you to grow up so I could teach you all the things. But now, I don’t know what to teach you.”\n\n“You could teach me to sing.” Cynder looked up hopefully\n\n“You don’t know how?”\n\n“Not really, I know how to fight, how to use my magic, and now how to cook. But I don’t know how to do anything else really. Spyro knows, and Aura told me that Michael had sung to all of you, so I want to pass down some of the songs.”\n\nSilver smiled. “Of course.”\n\nCynder blushed, and looked at the kitchen door.\n\n“So, Fury and Rose’s son.” Silver cleared her throat\n\nCynder beamed back. “Yes, I love him with all my heart. Back on Genrir, he was the only one that cared for me.”\n\nSilver’s eyes flashed. “I know what it means to be hated.”\n\n“You do?”\n\n“Michael only recently overcame the discrimination against black dragons. It wasn’t bad here, but everybody always ignored me and never wanted to be my friend. For a while I only had Rose and Michael. Wherever I went I was hated on, the only thing keeping them from killing me was the fact that I was Michael’s daughter. Then I met Malefor, he was also hated on because he was purple. He was like a shining knight. He was friends with Fury, and that is how we met.” Silver explained.\n\nCynder smiled. “Guess we are the same; we look exactly alike, we both fell in love with purple dragons, and we both were hated by an entire civilization.”\n\nSilver smiled, and then frowned. “I hope you can get to know him, he was so excited to become a father.”\n\nCynder flinched “I don’t know just yet, it will take some time.”\n\nSilver sighed. “I just can’t believe he did that, even corrupted.”\n\nSpyro walked out of the kitchen and set down three plates. Silver smiled and thanked him, before digging into the meal. They ate in silence for a bit, before Spyro looked over and broke it.\n\n“You knew my father?” Spyro asked. “He was king too right?”\n\nSilver nodded.\n\n“Was he a good one? What exactly did he do?”\n\nSilver looked over at Cynder.” You won’t like my answer.”\n\nCynder looked confused.\n\n“He led armies during the wars, fighting in the front lines beside Michael. This caused him to be away, and if you try to do what he did, you won’t be able to live here.” Silver explained.\n\n“We might be moving anyway, we don’t really have enough room to raise full clutches here.” Cinder replied.\n\nSilver nodded. “Makes sense, we didn’t need to move yet because we were only having one.”\n\n“I don’t think I am needed on the throne. There aren’t any wars, and the Dark Authority has been destroyed…” Spyro began\n\n“He destroyed it!” Silver jumped “That means the Dark One will be returning.”\n\n“We know, but it won’t be happening anytime soon.” Spyro replied.\n\nSilver sighed. “I have been working many years to try to find him, and now he’s coming here.”\n\nSpyro exchanged a glance with his mate, before turning back to Silver.\n\n“Let’s change the subject; it’s an egg year, and you know were part of it, what do you think?”\n\nSilver smiled again “I’m so happy for you, a bit young but it is hard to resist an egg year. I can’t wait to meet my grandchildren, even if you are only a few years older than me.”\n\n“It makes things a bit… awkward.” Spyro replied.\n\nSilver nodded. “Definitely, considering I still feel like I want more children.”\n\nCynder blinked, and then shook her head. Michael knew this, and had warned him about it. She smiled at her mother.\n\n“I’ve always wanted siblings.” She replied\n\nSilver looked down. “I don’t know how Mally will feel about it, when he finds out what happened.”\n\nCynder spotted a flash of something cold in Spyro’s eyes. She knew that he probably won’t forgive Malefor for a long time, but she also knew that he would take it and tolerate it for her.\n\nSilver didn’t miss the look either. “Listen, I know he did bad things, and we both would completely understand if you never want to talk, or even see him ever again.”\n\nSpyro sighed. “Look, I didn’t blame Cynder for her actions, and now that I know the complete truth, it would be kind of hypocritical to stay mad at him. I will try to forgive him, because he is Cynder’s father.”\n\nCynder gave him a grateful look, and Silver smiled at them.\n\n“You two are perfect for each other.” She spoke “You look a lot like your father.”\n\nSpyro blushed and coughed into his paw.\n\n“Yeah, I’ve heard that a lot.”\n\n“I hope you won’t be too mad when I whoop him.”\n\nBoth of the younger dragons jumped, and gave Silver a confused look.\n\n“What?”\u0026nbsp; Spyro asked\n\n“He sent my father away, when he could cure Malefor in a few hours. He overreacted when he saw Michael putting some painful bindings on him. Malefor is his best friend so he told Michael to leave and put him in a special cell. The plan was to keep him there while we found the spell to cure him, but he woke up and escaped.”\n\n“Michael said you wanted him gone too.” Cynder replied.\n\n“I was pregnant, so I was stuck between the two. My mate was being hurt, but I knew that Michael was trying to help him, and Rose, Rose had no idea what was going on.” Silver told her.\n\n“Really?” Spyro replied.\n\n“She was pregnant too, and was far more paranoid about it than I was. She had been building the neatest nest I have ever seen, and carving the most elaborate toys for you. She was definitely excited, and the looks of joy on her face would melt your heart. She is not going to take this as nicely as I have.” Silver answered.\n\nSilver yawned. “Suddenly I’m very tired, I think I’ll just go to sleep.”\n\nShe walked up and nuzzled her daughter. “I love you, don’t ever forget it.”\n\nCynder blushed, and nuzzled her mother back. Silver walked into the spare room and closed the door. Cynder sighed and leaned against Spyro.\n\n“You okay?” He asked.\n\n“Yeah, I’m just… I don’t know how to feel about this.”\n\n“What do you mean?”\n\n“My father, the very one that corrupted me, hurt you, killed Ignitus. I can’t ask you to tolerate him, I can’t stand here and let you suffer because of him.”\n\n“I want to, he is your father. You only have one of those, I have two. I am willing to forgive him for you.”\n\nCynder gasped, tears forming in her eyes. Spyro licked her cheek, making her look directly into his eyes.\n\n“You are the best mate in the universe, heck, the multiverse.” Cynder replied.\n\nSpyro chuckled, and they walked to bed."}
