Building on the idea of Micropals Ad, a less conventional way to use them.","content":"The room was dark as a man stared at a glass case. Inside was a little city that he was taking care of.  \n  \n\"Let's see what we need to do today.\" He said to himself as he checked a few devices on the side. \"More water, it looks like, and a new battery.\" He works to pour some more water and gently slides out the battery to cause as little disruption as possible.  \n  \n\"There, that will be good for a while.\" He sits back and watches; he had a screen that gave him a closer feed of the action. An invisible drone he could control. This was his hobby, making sure everyone in his tiny city was taken care of. Making sure that they were happy and as undisturbed as possible. The dome itself would make it seem like they were looking at the sky from the inside.  \n  \nHe would control the weather with machines, making an accurate simulation of how it was outside. They were so lifelike; after all, he could have them live there, and they would never have been any wiser to the truth.  \n  \nSo why do it, you might ask? While he might stress over the current temperature all the time or some other thing, the truth is that he liked how powerful it made him feel to have control over all these \"lives.\"  \n  \nEveryone once in a while he would have one break out and would toy with them. Pinning them, picking them up or fawning over them for a while before using a remote control to reset them again. Everything was perfect in his little world, which he was the god of.","series":{"name":"Micro May 2025","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/2252963-micro-may-day-16-premium-collection.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/2253533-micro-may-day-18-stranded.json"}}
