# A Scooping of Sweets

Two poems in one day, just like the first time I posted this. I consider this one more of a palette cleanser poem. A short and sweet in between sort of poem.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; **A Scooping of Sweets** &nbsp;

 

 

It sits there in front of you&nbsp;

 

A dessert that looks divine&nbsp;

 

And you think to yourself I can’t wait for that to be all mine

 

So you grab your spoon&nbsp;&nbsp;

 

To not rush or move too soon&nbsp;

 

And dig into that sweet richness&nbsp;

 

The many different layers and textures with their thickness&nbsp;

 

Dessert is something where you want to savor every bite

 

And that first complex scoop is usually one that fills with delight
