Ending To A Spiritual Beginning  
  
They both hold each other as they both look away  
They both look forward unsure if they'll stay  
  
The man named Aiden decides to let go  
As he begins to move forward into the unknown  
  
Aiden then turned and gave a small sigh  
As he stopped to stare into his lover, Ethans, eyes  
  
Aiden could see that his lovers in fear  
As he walks to the unknown and begins to disappear  
  
"Wait!" yelled Ethan who had thought to stay back  
"I can't let you leave, not without me on your track"  
  
Ethan then runs forward into the unknown  
But now he was scared fore his lovers not shown  
  
"Oh please, oh please don't leave me this time"  
Because he had known their love was divine  
  
He then feels a touch that had left him cold  
As he turns around and feels his heart unfold  
  
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Ethan had said  
"For what? Because you felt it should have been you instead?  
  
Ethan gives a nod into Aidens chest  
"No, because I know it would have been best  
  
My pain would be over and it would have subdued  
And then I wouldn't always be thinking of you!"

  Aiden looks down as he smiles with tears  
as the other looks up no longer in fear  
  
"But you have people who love you waiting down there"  
"No! I have someone who loves me and he's standing right here"  
  
Aiden now clueless on what to say  
Was trying to keep the painful goodbye at bay  
  
Ethan lifts his head as he starts to talk  
"Can I just ask that we have this one last walk?"  
  
Aiden now smiles and puts out his hand  
As Ethan reaches out and looks somewhat sad  
  
"I'm going to miss you, you know that I hope"  
"I'll miss you too, but I don't want you to mope"  
  
Ethan had smiled although somewhat scared  
Knowing this would be the last moment they shared  
  
They walk hand in hand with little silence  
As they walked towards the end Ethan to feel tense  
  
Aiden looked down, they're both crying right now  
And they both express their love, both sharing a vow  
  
Aiden gave a squeeze and said "Well it's my time to go"  
As Ethan just screamed "NO! I say no!"  
  
"I'm sorry my love, but this is my end"  
"I will not stand here and believe that you're dead!"  
  

  Aiden now felt his lover cry and tremble in sorrow  
Because he knew that this would not be here tomorrow  
  
"I'll truly miss you and love you i do  
And I'd want nothing more then to be with you  
  
But this is my time and surely you know."  
Ethan just nods unsure to let go  
  
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry to make it about me.  
It's just hard to think that now we can't be."  
  
"I know, I know" as Aiden held close  
But now his time was up as his fate had been chose  
  
Ethans eyes now widened as it was abundantly clear  
As his lover had smile and began to disappear  
  
They both looked at each other, in smile, and tears  
Hand in hand as he faded right there  
  
"I love you, Aiden" he said in an unbearably sad sight  
"I love you too, Ethan" Aiden said before vanising in light  
  
Ethan collapsed in unbearable pain  
As he clenched his fist knowing life won't be the same  
  
He then sat alone in this room of all white light  
As he began to feel his muscles clench and get tight  
  
He couldn't suppress his feelings no more  
Pain, grief, and sorrow gave his heart a sore  
  

  He then screamed out "Why!" as loud as he could  
As his tears became rivers which can be understood  
  
Because he just lost the love of all his life  
And now his heart will never suffice  
  
He sat alone for hours in this spiritual place  
As he then stood up with tears still down his face  
  
He then reached his room and laid in his bed  
'I'll love and miss you so much Aiden' he had said in his head  
  
Ethan slowly weeped as he began to rest  
And woke up next morning with a note on his chest  
  
Ethan now felt he was put in deadlock  
as he read this letter completely in shock  
  
'Dear Ethan' was what the first line had read  
'I don't want to leave you with inconclusive thoughts in your head  
  
  
So please don't blame yourself for that night  
because you gave it your damnedest for me just to fight  
  
You protected me as I laid in that bed  
And no one would guess that I would be dead  
  
But you pushed on and smiled beside me  
And I love you for that, more then their could be  
  
And you were the only one their when the doctor had said  
That I don't have long before I am dead  
  

  But you held my hand and decided to stay  
As you had watched my life begin to slip away  
  
Finally, then my heart-line went flat  
As I said I love you and you said it back  
  
And the last memory I has was you smiling at me  
While I shut my eyes and smile slowly  
  
Now Ethan please would you do this for me?  
Keep living on and do not dwell on me  
  
Because I'm right there close to your heart  
So do not think that were ever apart  
  
We've done so many magnificent things through our years  
and all those memories I will hold dear  
  
So, Ethan please, I don't want you to fret  
Because our love had grown stronger don't forget  
  
So Ethan dear I'll love and miss you  
And I've never felt this so strong and true  
  
Goodbye, Ethan I love you  
  
Ethan now felt the tears coming down  
But this time he smiled not giving a frown  
  
"I'll love and miss you too Aiden my love  
you really know what to say when push comes to shove"  
  
He then stood up because the day had to start  
And then saw a necklace with a solid gold heart  
  
It was a locket so he then looked inside  
A picture of them both on each side  
  

  He then closed the locket to look at the back  
It said I love you which made his heart go slack  
  
Ethan then put it on, happily in pride  
Because his emotions for Aiden he could not hide  
  
And now he knew they'd never be apart  
Because of his locket that was shaped as a heart  
  
And he knew that someday they'll be together  
Love, harmony, unity, and eternally forever  
  
Goodbye, Aiden I love you
