One of my first attempts at Poetry, so don't laugh.\n\n\\*\\*\n\nWhat am I?\n\nYou know me,\n\nBut it may seem like you don't.\n\nYou get me,\n\nBut understand me you do not.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI'm far from lost,\n\nThough I was never truly found.\n\nI can heal your wounds,\n\nBut will open them again.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBecause of me,\n\nYour heart beats fast,\n\nand your passion soars\n\nAs it has never done before.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI cause joy,\n\nand sorrow,\n\nand many other things.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nDo you yet,\n\n\u0026nbsp;know what I am?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI burn in your heart,\n\nlike a thousand flames.\n\nThe Sun can not match,\n\nthe heat that I give.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI am strong,\n\nbut I can be weak.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nDo you yet,\n\nknow what I am?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nI'm something that is felt,\n\nby only a few.\n\nStronger than any bond.\n\nThe Essence of Your Soul.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhat I am?\n\nI am True Love.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/228353-fire-and-shadow.json"}}
