Been writing a lot of these lately.\n\n\\*\\*\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n**For the Time of Day**\n\nFor the Time of Day\n\nI shall give,\n\nThis heart of mine,\n\nOr part of this soul inside.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTo know that the sun\n\nHas yet to rise,\n\nFills me with anguish\n\nAnd desire for the gloriously warm rays,\n\nthat grant us our lives.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTo see or to be,\n\nThe sun is the key,\n\nTo this incomplete life of ours.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTo know the time of day,\n\nTo know that the sun will rise soon,\n\nIs the most glorious thing to have.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAnything for the time,\n\nthat signals the end of the dark,\n\nthat beckons for the beauty,\n\nof light, so very divine.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/228353-fire-and-shadow.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/228715-workings-of-the-mind.json"}}
