I am only doing minor editing, and posting them with her permission!\n\nNote to those who know how to write poetry: I'm not sure how to work with this enough so that it's accurate, I added a few bits of punctuation in areas I felt needed them. Please correct me via comment or private message if you know it's wrong! Thanks much!\n\nPlease also vote, good or bad, and comment why you think that way so I can tell the author what other people think. She cannot improve if she doesn't know what's wrong.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nPlease enjoy!\n\nUploader's Note: Now has a picture drawn by the author!\n\n========\n\nHis strength runs deep,\n\nHis paws are swift,\n\nThrough the snow he sweeps,\n\nThough his head he must not lift.\n\nQuietly, he prowls the night\n\nSearching for a bite to eat.\n\nLow he moves out of sight,\n\nQuickly his heart beats.\n\nThe snow falls gently all around\n\nNot a single noice he makes\n\nHe moves low to the ground,\n\nMoving toward the frozen lake.\n\nThe icy wind is bitter and cold,\n\nYet he does not stay still.\n\nNow's his chance, he must be bold\n\nFor his prey stands on a hill.\n\nSlowly he creeps through the trees,\n\nThe yound deer holds its ground.\n\nHe stops where the deer cannot see;\n\nThe deer looks around.\n\nHe leaps out and starts his chase\n\nThe deer tries to run away,\n\nIt has become a deadly race;\n\nA race between hunter and prey.\n\nThe deer is young and quick,\n\nBut he knows the forest by heart\n\nSo he uses the terrain to be quick.\n\nHe and the deer aren't far apart.\n\nHis prey is tired and slows,\n\nHis teeth sink into its neck\n\nThe deer writhes as its blood flows\n\nIts body is now a mangled wreck.\n\nHe rips and shreds at his share,\n\nThen he drags the rest home.\n\nIn time, he reaches his lair\n\nHe lives in a small snowy dome.\n\nInside, a mother with pups awaits,\n\nHe lays the carcass on hte ground\n\nThen stares at his pups and mate.\n\nSlowly they eat without a sound.\n\nWith his little family fed,\n\nAnd warm inside his keep,\n\nHe lays down with them to bed.\n\nAnd then he falls asleep.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Wolf","next":"https://sofurry.com/s/Rm0Y66Rn"}}
