# The Pride Rock Part 4: Pride Lands Author: Pravus234 Tags: Human, Hyena, Lion King, Northen Border, pride rock, pumba, timon, waterhole **                             ** **Part 4: Pride Lands**   **It is very bright. My eyes have already adjusted to dark cave. Nevertheless i am excited to see,what Pride Lands look like.** **From the Pride Rock, there's a great view to the savannah below. I have never seen anything like this before.**   " **Beautiful isn't it?" Simba asks** " **Sensational!"i answer.**   **Everywhere i looked i saw green: trees,grass, mountains... view was absolutely stunning. Except one place. I didn't saw anything green there, only gray rock.**   " **What is that place at north?" i ask** " **Aah i wonder when you would ask. The northen border." Simba sighs.** " **I will tell you later, but i warn you. That place is very** **dangerous and do your best to not end up there."** " **I understand" i reply.** " **Good, but let me show you the other parts of Pride Lands."** **Simba smiles.**   **And so Simba started our "tour." He showed me rest of the Pride Rock, the canyon, savannah, and then we stopped to the waterhole.**   " **This is the waterhole." Simba introduces.** " **Can we have a little break? I m somewhat thirsty." i ask** " **Ofcourse, drink as much as you can!" he laughs.** " **Thankyou"**   **When i start drinking i see something moving in the nearby** **bush.** **I look behind me,** **if Simba saw something but he wasn't even looking that direction.** **I decide to look the bush more closely. Something moves there again. I think i see a snout. I move slowly more close to the bush.** **And then i yell: "BOOO!"**   " **Aaargh!" a warthog shouts. A meerkat seems to be** **riding with the warthog. Warthog runs to Simba.** " **Simba, Simba! There's a predator stalking us!" warthog yells. Meerkat adds: "yeah and he is standing right** **there." meerkat points me.** " **Me?" i ask astonishly.** " **Yeah you! I bet you tried to eat me!" meerkat yells.** " **What about me?" warthog asks.** " **You are too big for him! You would take time to** **eat, but he could swallow me in an instant!" meerkat yells.** " **Timon, Pumba calm down. He isn't a predator.** **He is a guest" Simba calms them.** " **Jake, Timon, Pumba"** " **Timon, Pumba, Jake." Simba introduces us.** " **So... are you sure that he won't eat us?" Timon asks** " **Absolutely sure, right Jake?" Simba winks.** " **You can count on me." i assure them.** " **Pumba, i think we can trust him. How about you? Timon asks** " **Yeaah, he don't seem to have claws or anything. I say he is** **friendly."Pumba replies** " **Where are you going?" Timon wants to know.** " **Simba shows me the Pride Lands." i reply.** " **Do you want to join us?" asks Simba** " **Nääh, no thanks." Timon replies.** " **Bye then." Simba says and starts to leave.** " **See you around" i say.**   " **You have showed me everything... except the northe border." i remember.** " **Do you really have to know what's in there?"** " **Yes, if i don't, i don't know why i can't go there."** **\*Sigh\* "ok i take you there" Simba finally agrees** " **But be cautious. That place is usually full of hyenas." Simba warns me"** " **I understand. Lets get going." i say.**   **And so he leads us to the northen border. More we come closer to it, i see less plants and more rock. No hope in that place.**   " **We have arrived." Simba says.** " **What is this place?" i ask** " **It's a graveyard. An elephant graveyard."** " **Can we go any further?"** " **Yes we can, but i suggest we don't"**   **But then we hear dreary laugh.** " **Simba, Simba, Simba... you have lowered your defence."** **voice mocks.** " **Shenzi, i should have known you are stalking us." Simba responds** " **You are getting old Simba, or what you think Banzai?"**   **The other hyena shows himself.** " **Definitely."** " **Ed?" they call him.** **This crazy hyena comes up. He laughs all the time.**   " **What's wrong in him?" i ask** " **No one knows." Banzai replies.** **Shenzi adds:"he has always been like that."** " **Uggh, he reminds me of my friend." i say.** " **To the main point already! What are you doing in our** **territory?" Shenzi** " **It's my fault. I wanted to know what this place is." i say.** " **You will find out.
