It was weird, and he didn't understand it at all, but he didn't make it a concern of his. He was probably just plain tired and didn't even notice.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nMay easily kept up with him. Yes, his girlfriend had also joined him. Awakening right after the Umbreon they both decided that training their endurance would be profitable for the tournament. Blaze? Well, both agreed that trying to wake him up would probably result in failure, so they didn't even bother.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You okay?\" The Umbreon asked, keeping up his speed. The Mightyena smirked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'm fine.\" she responded. They both kept on running, enjoying the breeze that greeted them.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay! Lets take a break!\" Kyurex slowed down, eventually coming to a halt. Naturally, he tried to calm his accelerated breathing. May stopped next to him, doing the same thing.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe Umbreon lay down on the grass, having calmed down and began to rest. May didn't waste time and jumped down a couple of stones, making her way to the shore. Kyurexs ears rose.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n_What's she up to?_\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe then watched how his girlfriend peacefully looked into the water, smiling.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n_Guess I should join her..._\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe stood up, taking the same path. It was unusually quiet.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Look, you see that blue light?\" The Mightyena asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe Umbreon took a look. Indeed, some mysterious blue color tainted the water. I mean, you and Blaze, you're both so confident, and strong at the same time. You know...you've got that competitive nature. Both of you want to achieve something with this tournament. Well, it's not the same thing for me.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKyurex knew this would come up at some point. And he knew the real issue far too well. He moved closer to May.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Look, I know what you're thinking. Let me guess, Mightyenas are thought of as weak Pokemon? Never has it been heard of through the centuries that a Mightyena passed to the Gold Tournament? I know what you're thinking May.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nMay looked at Kyurex. He was right.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"But-\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"No \"buts\" babe, I know you're strong, you're way stronger then you even know. The only real problem is, is that you don't use this strength that you've been gifted with. Mightyenas are weak? Maybe, maybe its just the plain truth. But it doesn't make you weak as an individual. A Mightyena has never made it to the Gold Tournament? Then be the first one to do so. Don't give up because of stupid beliefs.\" The Umbreon smiled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nMay couldn't describe what she felt at the moment. Well you'll have to earn it first.\" she smirked. \"And don't think those weak lines will do the job mister.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe Umbreon didn't know what to say, to be honest he didn't really understand the Mightyena at all. But he knew that she was challenging him. He watched May walk further and further away.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe smiled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Weak lines? The same ones that made you my girlfriend?\" Kyurex jogged behind May, eventually catching up, walking side to side. May laughed.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I just had to pity you...who else would fall for them?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKyurex had to give it to May that he lost that round. He still smiled, aiming to jump at her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay...we'll just see about THA- woah!!\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKyurex missed by some inches, surprised at how fast May evaded his attack. Naturally, he landed with his face into the ground, feeling the grass tickle his face. May watched while standing next to him, not being able to keep herself from laughing.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Pff...Hahaha!! Kyu...did you get what you want? Hahaha!!!\" May tried to calm down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOkay...I'm so getting her back for this...\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nMay started to walk again, still laughing. The Umbreon got up, shaking his body to get rid of all the dust.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOnce again, he caught up with his girlfriend. Making sure she wasn't fully aware of his intentions, he planned for a second strike.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How about TH- Eh?!!??\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIt all happened in an instant. The end result was Kyurex with his back to the ground, and May with her paws on either side of the Umbreon. The female grinned.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What's this? The same lame move from before? You should have known that it would not work honey...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKyurex sighed, relaxing himself. He had no other ideas.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay...I give up.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nMay chuckled. The Umbreon enjoyed feeling her breath on his face.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What was that about \"Don't give up.\"?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKyurex smiled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"If it means that you won, why not...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh, these lines again..- Oh!
