# Poem: descent into madness

This is a piece of poetry i wrote once while depressed, if i get enough feedback i might consider uploading my other poetry as well, and dont worry none of them are as moody as this one, im more of a love poem writer :P

I lay in bed another sleepless night,  
Staring up at the roof in the dark.  
Wondering how long i can keep us this fight,  
Before my final surrender will spark.  
 

Im losing the will to continue, to Try,  
slowly my will to fight is fading,  
every day i walk with my head in the sky,  
i know that my mind is degrading.

and as the darkness surrounds my heart,   
and i turn slowly wicked and cruel.  
i know deep down inside this is only the start,  
if i look for escape im a fool  
  
There is only one thing now that my heart it can save  
One final chance to survive, to avoid a quick meet with the grave  
I need to find love, with light that pierces the deadly shadows  
And only Love straight to my heart, keeps me from soon burial in paddows.
