A Dragon Dig in the Ruins of
Dragon keeps. Then a Tall man removes a steel box slowly from the ruins
of something. Then he opens it slowly and a sword glow in the box. He
put the sword on his side as he turn to the dragon. He said to the
dragon in a happy tone" Galactic we found it! At last we have a rider
sword." He walks down the stairs as the Gold Dragon follow beside him.
Then Galactic said in the mind link" James? Do you think we can fight
the king lone? The King riders out power us four to one. And with that
we will lose." James said to Galactic as he enters the sunlight as his
cape glow with a sliver color." Galactic we are lone wolf and we need
to keep fighting for our freedom. With Eragon on the king side we are
lone in this fight." They Left the under ground base and into Boer
mountains. He jump onto the back of Galactic and said" There nothing
left of the varden gear. However, with them gone we have to keep moving
and stay live. Then slowly galactic jump into the sky and fly north to
a place called Hedarth next to the Edda River.
Galbatorix stepped out of the throne room, looking over the four
riders in the hallway. "Quiet!" It was all that he said, however, he
was worried over the fact that their could be another rider out there,
a rider that they had missed. There were reasons for everything, the
Varden had fallen, and that was about all that could be said.

Seraphine looked up at the sound of Galbatorix, but she said nothing,
wondering if he had anything that needed to be done. She had been on
patrol for hours, and yet, there things that probably had not been
found. The shade that was his best had been killed, no less than by
Seraphine and Eragon. Seraphine was not about to question her king.

Murtagh pulled away from Seraphine when Galbatorix appeared, he
dropped to one knew, but despite his efforts, he could not move
Seraphine an inch. He just hoped that Galbatorix did not punish her for
that, but boy was he in for a surprise, he knew nothing of what the
king had asked his fiancé to do, and that was what the surprise was.

Galbatorix looked at Murtagh and Seraphine. The woman was not exactly
the head of the Dragon riders, but she was his best rider, and she was
also the one that he trusted the most. That was something that was for
certain. He reached an arm out, before speaking. "Seraphine." He
motioned for her to walk over to him, waiting to see what she and
Murtagh would do.

Seraphine, cast a sparing glance at her fiancé, before she moved,
walking over to stand next to the king. "My king." Seraphine bowed her
head slightly, when she felt a hand bring her chin back up. She met
Galbatorix's gaze, and a small smile graced her features, but she knew
what he was going to ask.

Murtagh spared a glance up, and gasped in surprise. This was the
king's favorite, the one he had been told about. It was his fiancé! He
could not believe it, his fiancé was the king's best rider. However, for
christs sake, she wasn't even the head of the dragon riders! Murtagh
could not believe it at all.

Galbatorix looked at Seraphine carefully before he spoke. "I want you
to go out again, patrol, make sure that we didn't miss any dragon
riders. I want you to be sure before you come back." He then turned to
Murtagh. "Go with her, but be careful. You're not the best dragon rider,
she is." With that he turned, and disappeared.

Seraphine shook her head, smirking at her fiancé, before she walked
out the main entrance, jumping onto the back of her dragon. She spoke
telepathically. her dragon took off, flying
over the King's territory, before she headed out towards Hedarth and
the Edda River. Murtagh following closely behind her.
James and Galactic Fly over the River of Edda slowly as the Moon were
high in the sky. Then he Scan the Sky as they came closer to the Edda
River. Nevertheless, he sees two spot coming to an Intercept him.
However, they were miles away and he think what ever it was coming to
intercept. He Pull hard left and fly fast to the Eldor Lake. When he
got there, he follows the River and stay low to the Ground to lose the
ones at was trying to intercept him. Galactic Try to push all his power
into speed and move like a falcon. Then he saw the Arden Lake as he
dive and hit the water like an arrow. Then under the wave, he swims
into an underwater cave. Then James Jump off and cast a magic spell to
make a huge rock fall into the doorway of the underwater cave. Then he
Draw his sword and said" Galactic I am scared" Then the Galactic look
down and said" We will fight as one"
Seraphine's dark gaze scanned the horizon, as she muttered a few words
in the ancient language. That is when she noticed a rider in the
distance, as he pulled a hard left. Damn. She muttered a curse under
her breath, not even bothering look behind her at her fiancé. This was
her job, there was a reason, she was Galbatorix's favorite, she did
her job, and she intended to actually succeed.

Murtagh watched his fiancé carefully, since they had become engaged,
he had not been out with her patrolling; he never really realized just
how good of a rider she actually was. That was when he spotted the
other dragon rider. The same one that his fiancé had seen, he watched
her carefully, waiting to see what she was going to do, though he
could probably take a guess.

In a flat second, Seraphine opened her telepathic link with her
dragon, speaking carefully. her dragon spiraled down
towards the Ardwen Lake, before landing, Murtagh and Thorn landing
almost directly behind her. Damn. Where in the hell did that dragon
rider disappear too, she was beginning to get a little irritated.
James and Galactic wait for a min and clam down a min. Then they turn
and see a path leading somewhere. The two nods to each other as they
walk the tunnel. One hr past as James and Galactic follow the tunnel
deeper into the cave. Then at last, they were outside again. He looks
around and sees no sign of followed. Then James got on Galactic back
and ride as they run into the woods. Galactic was tired from running
but keep moving as he run past trees and jump over rocks. The Gold
dragon move easily on the ground as he try to put miles away from the
ones they lost. With in an hr they found a hidden cave behind the
waterfall. He cast a spell as he moves a huge rock to cover the cave
entrance. Then James lay next to Galactic and said" At was a narrow
escape and I have the feeling those was the king riders. But I hope we
lost them and hope they give up the hunt."
Seraphine sighed, damn it. This was going to be one long night. Her
dark gaze scanned the horizon of the lake, she was oblivious to the
fact that they had escaped. Seraphine glanced and looked, but then she
sighed, she was not about to go back empty handed, but she was not
entirely sure that she could find this other rider as the darkness was
falling. It was rather irritating, and that was something that she
knew what she was doing.

Murtagh watched his fiancé carefully, watching as Seraphine hung her
head in practical defeat. Murtagh sigh, stepping forward. He wrapped an
arm around her waist, pulling her back against him. "Why give up
Seraphine? He is only fled for now. I know you. I may not
want to admit, or I may not like that you are the king's favorite, but
clearly you do your job." Murtagh really did not know what to say to
her, for once, he really did not need to.

Seraphine sighed, turning to face her fiancé, barely meeting his gaze.
"I just don't know. I can stand failing Galbatorix, and I will not. I
know the consequences of that. But finding this other dragon rider
isn't going to be that easy." Seraphine shook her head, pulling out of
Murtagh's grasp. Walking over to her dragon, she mentally sighed,
before speaking telepathically to her dragon.

Murtagh watched her carefully, before climbing onto his dragon's back,
watching his fiancé carefully. "Seraphine. Are we heading back or
not?" It was that entire he had to ask, for one thing, he knew everything
was fully in his fiancé's hands. The king would not truss her without a
damned good reason, and obviously, he had a good reason. Clearly, but
the question was, what were they going to do.

Seraphine looked over at her fiancé, before shaking her head, and
climbing on her dragon's back. "No we're not." Their dragons took to
the air, before heading towards the forest. Not that she would go
anywhere near a cave now. Landing in the cover, she sighed,
leaning her back against the tree. This was going to one long patrol,
she knew that, and clearly, her fiancé knew that.

To be Continue!
