I kept low to the \n    ground in the cave and perked my ears up. I could hear two gruff, deep voices in \n    the distance. I took a sniff of the air and smelt the undeniable odor of an \n    ursine. Putting two and two together I realized the situation I was in. Fuck, I \n    was intruding of a bear cave of what seemed to be two bears in their prime age. \n    Damn it I was so screwed. I tried to hide in the shadows as they entered, hoping \n    they wouldn't notice me until I could bolt out into the night. One of them \n    passed by me on the far side of the cave and my nerves got to me and I bolted \n    forward. \n    \"Whoa whoa, where do you think you are going?\" Taunted the bear by the entrance \n    I had failed to see, grabbing my and tossing me back in the cave.\n    \"It looks like we have an intruder, doesn't it Igor?\" Said the first bear, \n    coming up behind me and startling me. \n    \"Yes we do, Ivan, yes we do. And does this little wolf know what we do to \n    intruders?\" Igor said, completely blocking my exit. \n    \"They get punished real bad, 'cuz we don't like our home being intruded.\" Ivan \n    said, stepping closer. \n    \"Well then, bring it on!\" I growled deeply, slashing out at Ivan. \n    \"He he he, we have a feisty one here, don't we?\" Ivan said, checking the gash I \n    put in his leg. \n    \"Good, I could use a slight workout.\" Igor said, hunkering down. I turned around \n    to face Igor. In hindsight, that was a bad idea, because now that left me an \n    open target for Ivan. Deep pain flashed through my flanks as his claws dug \n    deeply into my backside, sending me flying into the wall. I slammed into it, \n    standing back up on my now shaking legs. \n    \"Ha ha ha! She is so light! I bet I could throw her into the stream from here!\" \n    Ivan taunted, laughing deeply. They both moved in closer to me and I lashed out \n    threateningly. Despite my lashing, they persisted in coming closer. I jumped at \n    Igor and clamped my teeth on his arm\n    \"Ahhhhhhh! Crazy little bitch!\" Screamed Igor, blood seeping from his bicep. He \n    swung me into the cave wall, bruising my shoulder blades. \"Ivan, get her off \n    me!\" Igor screamed. The last thing I saw was the heavy handed swing if Ivan's \n    clawed fist flying towards my head before darkness overtook my mind, vision, and \n    body.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Life From A New Perspective","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/240518-life-from-a-new-perspective-chapter-1-on-the-hunt.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/240902-life-from-a-new-perspective-chapter-3-surrounded-by-strangers.json"}}
