Wallowing in my own self-pity

Lackadaisical in nature

Try to remain blissfull

But within life comes realization

 

It's too late now

I fucked up

I can't change what's already been undone

I should have done what was due

When the time was right

 

But now

Within my self-pity

Within my realization

Comes the light of a truth I can't hide

 

I shouldn't be doing this

I won't be doing this

Not any more

It's time for me to change

 

I will do what's due

And fight for what's right

From this moment onward

No looking back.

Pretty much how I feel and am at this particular moment. Just thought I'd upload this as some sort of mental release, I need to stop being so easy-going about everything and take charge for a change. Anyways, hope you like it.
