# One-Way Street

I see you two together

Living, laughing, loving

You seem great together

And that's what kills me

I love you so much

More than you can imagine

You don't know it yet

Maybe you never will

I've lived a lie for so long

And it's finally caught up to me

I had hope you'd feel the same way as me

But I'm too scared to find out

Scared of your reaction and emotion

Whenever I'm asleep

I see you

Whenever I daydream

I think of you

Who do you dream about?

Her

It hurts so much to hear that

But it's your life

Not mine

I love you so much that I must let you go

Go love whomever you want

And I'll hide away and cry

But you will never see the tears

Never hear the sorrows

I'll put on a fake smile

And say how perfect you are for each other

Because I love you that much

The Bible says love is patient

And that it does not envy

But I can't wait any longer

And I long to be in her place

But Life has other plans

I'll have to find someone else

Who loves me back the same way

Because love is not a one-way street
