# The War Inside

Your dignity, it's safe to say,

Has swiftly gone and flown away.

The beast in you has gone to pay

Respects to her once more.

She's neither dead--no, nor departed,

It's just the fire that she's started,

In your heart to burn away,

All else and evermore--

She's taken from you something great,

And yet now--sit and contemplate;

She'll say: "don't watch and masturbate!"

"I'm not your dollar-whore!"

She spreads her legs and yet she lies--

There's such deceit between those thighs!

She wants to have some thing and something's

Something she'll despise.

We're all at war with our own beast,

As it sits down and yearns to feast

On tender morsels of the sort

We really can't afford.

So asks you now do I: Which way?

And to which end and means you sway?

And with what partner shall you lay?

When last you go to war?
