Selfishness guided by lack of caution.
Altruism is dead. Was it alive?
Or is this just a pure selfish passion?

Destruction of the self leads right to love
But without the self one ceases to strive
For dreams, releasing the white mourning dove.

Yes, a piece of life gained, another lost
A peace of mind never found either way
Despite what anybody says, love is caused
Not found; unlike the beginnings of day.

Love considered a defeat, for the weak
Some disagree, argue until theyre blue
But one must choose and then go out and seek
Whichever they choose, whichever is true.
