Can you say?\n\nOr has that too gone, run away?\n\nIt seems that time has come once more,\n\nOur respects again to pay.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe way is clouded, dark, and bleary,\n\nAs your eyes grow tired and weary,\n\nThe road grows crooked, steep, and eerie,\n\nNight has come again.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe path is lost, and yet you seek:\n\nDivide the righteous from the weak,\n\nExplain to them their place and place them\n\nFar from truth they say.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAre you the writer? Is it known?\n\nOr is it just your rhyme and bone?\n\nSome trifle to placate the masses\n\nMake them all happy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIt's all a way to move the masses,\n\nKeep on making pious passes,\n\nAt the will and whim of man,\n\nAnd to what end, my friend?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWho will you save when day is done?\n\nWho will you pay for your crooked fun?\n\nIs this the Way or is it yours,\n\nTo force on other men?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhence did the big man come to you,\n\nTell you truly: It was true?\n\nAnd now whatever shall you do?\n\nWhen last your ruse is done.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nFor all of us, an end to life.\n\nAn end to money, love, and strife.\n\nBut what more lies beyond the veil,\n\nTo tempt your weary eyes?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nNone of us know, and none can say.\n\nAnd to the liar: will you pay?\n\nIf it is known and otherwise it is,\n\nWill He say \"Liar\"?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nPonder now, my friend, for I,\n\nHold enmity at bay and sigh,\n\nWe're all Enemies to one another,\n\nAt some point in life.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
