Then she jumped next to her and sat.\nLaura took of her pink backpack and started searching it.\nSoon enough she took out an candy bar and gave it to Rochelle.\n''You must be tired after that fight, take this.''\nRochelle took the candy bar and started chewing on it.\n''Silly you, let me open it for you.''\n''Here.''\n''Rai!''\nShe then started eating the candy bar pretty fast.\n''Hey slow down! Its toffee.''\nRochelle did not care, it was delicous.\nLaura was just smiling and watching this adorable little creature eating, she looked so cute!\nShe really couldnt believe that her partner would be someone like Rochelle, her parents and friends always told her that the first pokemon would probably be a Pidgey or a Rattata.\nShe saw someone walking down the road coming closer to them, she was wearing a white T-shirt and white jeans.\n \n(It couldnt! or could it?)\nThe girl was about the same age as Laura and was close enough to recognise.\nLaura jumped from the rock and shouted to the girl:\n''Diana!''\nThe girl stopped and looked for the one who shouted and the minute she saw her she started running towards her yelling:\n''Laura!''\nThe two reached eachother and started hugging eachother, when they seperated Diana was the first one to talk.\n''Oh my god I cant believe its you! What brings you here?''\n''Rai!''\nThey both looked at Rochelle who was showing that she had finished her candibar and was now asking where to put the thrash.\n''Just put it in my backpack.''\nRochelle looked at the backpack on the rock and then she put it in there.\n''Oh my god shes so cute!''\nRochelle was a little bit startled by the loud yell, she turned around only to see that the stranger came right at her with her arms spread.\nShe fought that she was going to attack her so she immideatly charged up her elecrtic field of power.\nDiana got scared of the offensive act and hid behind Laura.\n''Help! Can I see them?''\n''How about we find a nice caffe first and catch up?''\n''Sure.''\nAnd so the girls started walking towards the city while talking about what they have been up to, Rochelle was just stannding on the rock.\n\n[What just happened?]\nA little while later...\nLaura and Diana were in a small cafe waiting toorder something and talking about their past, Rochelle was sitting next to Laura.\nDiana was talking.\n''....Anyway the wierd thing is that almost all pokemon are 'shiny'.''\n''Why is that?''\n''Well there was an nuclear exlposion on our region about 60 years ago witch mutated the pokemons genes, you really didnt pay much attention in school did you?''\n \n''But history is soo booorinnng.''\n''You havent chanced a bit.''\n''Hey Diana what brings you to Hagra City?''\n''The Pokemon Gym ofcourse.''\n''Oh thats rigth, you have to get new badges every year so you can enter the league.''\n''Thats right, hey what about we both go to the gym?''\n''Great idea!''\nThen they both stood up and were about to leave when their stomachs started growling.\n''What about we eat first?''\nAfter an half an hour or so...\nThere they were, standing infront of the Hagra Gym.\nThe Gym itself was actully in the same building than the pokemon center.\nThe gym is located in the basement while the pokecenter is on top of it.\nLaura was a little confused.\n''Why is the Gym in the basement of an pokemon center?''\nDiana looked a little confused to Lauras question.\n''Because its the hardest gym.''\n''What!? The hardest?''\n''Yeah its the Power Gym after all.''\nLaura was scared, she only had got herself an Sandshrew and an Raichu and she didnt know really any of their moves or what she should about a tactic.\n \nDiana somewhat understood her consern.\n''Dont worry your first gym battle will be at Mega City not here.''\n''But isnt it very far away?''\n''Yeah but with an speed train you get there in an hour.\nCome on and see how I battle.''\nThey both went inside and went left from the entrance and down the stairs to the gym.\nThey were infront of an big door that was apparently locked, Diana pressed an buzzer next to it.\nAfter she pressed the buzzer an voice from the intercom said.\n''What do you want`''\nDiana answered:\n''I want to battle Berekka, the Power Gyms Leader.''\nAn buzz sound came from the intercom and after that the door opened.\nThe Gym battlegrounds were simple, medium sized room being full white but the marking on the ground that showed where the challencer would be standing and the middle part was painted red.\nA man in an grey clothes with an short brown hair came in.\n''Hello Im the referee of this Gym, Berekka will be here shortly if your friend would follow me to the audience stand.''\nLaura went with the man to the audience stand that was on their left side.\nDiana walked to the challencers spot and waited for the gym leader.\n \nSoon enough a tall muscular man came in from the other side, wearing black jeans and a black tank top along with an black bandana and black sneakers.\n''Is that Berekka?'' Laura asked from the referee.\n''Yes he is.''\nBerekka went on the Leader spot and just stared at his challencer.\nThe referee shouted:\n''The rules are simple, the challencer may use four pokemon while the Gym Leader shall use three out of four pokemon. The time limit is thirty minutes and if the time runs out the challencer aoutomaticly loses.''\nThe referee sat but Lauraasked him an question.\n''Why are the rules like that?''\n''You'll see.''\nThen Diana took an pokeball and threw it.\nThe ball popped up and outside came an grey violetish Ninetails with red eyes and blue tail tips.\n(Could that be Tails?)\nThen the gym leader threw out his pokeball, out of the ball came an Hariyama that was different color as well.\nIts hands and feet were violet and its 'tutu' thing was red.\nLaura asked the referee:\n''Why are their pokemon different color?''\n \nThe referee looked a bit confused.\n''You must be new huh?
