Some people are lucky,

Not once have i gotten that lucky

Some people get what they want

Not once have i gotten that

Some people have a partner for a long time

Not once have i had a partner for a long time

And some people can be happy with someone

Not once have i been able to be that happy with someone

Just once i want to have those things,

But  fate has a way to twist things around

Or repeat itself

Just once i would like to have no surprise and be happy

Just once i would like to not be tired of being stricken like this
